Old joe is correct on that. My 88GT had this issue after being in storage for 16 years. The front passenger caliper was sticking resulting in a brake hose failure. It’s the clamp on the UCA that, yes…can rust, causing a limited or very small brake, if any fluid passage. There is a lot of pressure when brakes are applied, so like Joe mentioned it’s restricted if the fluid can’t or doesn’t go back into the master cylinder reservoir. I might have had crap that even made the passage worse.
I replaced both front brake rubber stock hoses, and no sticking caliper / brakes after. You can feel the resistance like crazy because the brakes are applied on one side.
Naturally the rim gets really hot.
Do not drive around if your brakes are sticking.
You will glaze your disks and ruin your brake pads very quickly.
