Hi y’all,

First: 1987 SE 4 Cyl. Manual

Question about these 2 hoses OEM in the photos. I can’t find these at the regular parts stores and TFS. On one of the hoses, there are 2 connectors and 1 on the other (shown up close in one photo). I have never seen these type of hoses before. If anyone know about these type of hoses or where I could find these, please let me know. Thanks!

can't you just replace them with normal hoses and standard clamps?

Carefully cut the hose crimps and use regular heater hoses and clamps of your choice.

I don't recognize the 1st photo, but I know the 2nd photo:

This is under the car and on the passenger side; the rubber hose shown is between the main coolant pipe and connects to the heater core.

This metal pipe with the rubber hose is one GM part and was discontinued since 1994.

'buddycraigg' is suggesting by cutting the rubber hose from the metal pipe and use standard hose clamps.

To me, clean the rubber hose and see if the coolant is leaking before cutting out the hose....

Thank you all for your advice. I am new to doing repairs like this on a Fiero and I wanted to make sure this specific hose with the metal ends were needed in these areas for a specific reason. Your information helped me. I really appreciate it.
