I'm going to swap the Holly 8105b for this Killshot EFI setup.
HERE

Instead of having the pump in the fuel tank I opted to get this surge tank with a built in pump/ regulator.

This kit seems to have great reviews and offers a level of tunability on par with what I want to do in the near future. I'll post some progress pics here for you all.

Here is an older pic of the engine. I've cleaned it up since then

Pics of the car.

If anyone wants the Holly carb shoot me a PM.

Aces is the new kid on the block. I just talked to a shop that sells their stuff and they are pleased with the products. You will have to keep us updated on your thoughts of it all once you start messing with it.

Absolutely. Anything has to be better than this Holly carb. Zero float bowl adjustments. No way to see the fuel level in the bowls. I like that the Aces EFI setup is able to take boost, I like that a wideband 02 comes with it & I'll be able to get my hands on many parameters. There is even a couple fan controls and a place where you can add your own. It would be kind of neat to program an exhaust cutout. I'm excited about it.

I got everything yesterday. Can't believe how fast it was shipped out. Everything seems like high quality & well made. I'm even thinking about using the screen that comes with it to replace my cluster.

That system should work well but just a reminder for those considering using; it is best for stick systems only. To use it with an auto you could add a transmission controller but that could get expensive.

I think with my setup it should be ok. I'm not using the lockup and nothing needs to see what gear its in to function. Their stand alone trans controller unit is about $550. Could be fun.

Trans Controller

Looks like summit has a controller that's half the price.

Looks real nice... but damn, those systems are pricey. Converted to Canadian dollars, what you're getting would be almost $2600. But I suppose you've got to pay to play!

I own a production company and have some very big events this weekend. It takes me all week to prep for these things. I'm not going to be able to touch this project for at least another week. I did however get my new lights working last night. I'm super excited to get this gear installed! It would be cool to have it ready for FieroRama.

If you are using the Fiero automatic or a 4T60 , you can always just add a switch in the ashtray for the TC lock up function. Driving w/o the lockup may cause the transmission to overheat. Simple fix.

Everything I have read has told me to leave the TCC disconnected because they are prone to failure on the TH425. Apparently If it blows it takes out the whole trans. They seem to run fine without it though. I have a trans cooler just in case.
