Good morning, all.

I'm currently in progress of getting my iron duke cleaned up and my project fiero back on the road.
In the mean time i'd like to start planning a 3800 NA swap as well as a F23 swap... The swap in general I have all the knowledge i need as far as wiring goes and the needs there.
The one big thing is I have the Isuzu transmission which i've heard many mixed reviews that it's only really made for the iron duke, the V6 can handle it, but anything past that, it seems to be a ticking time bomb...
i'm planning a 3800 NA motor currently, so it's not a HUGE amount of power and not really planning on modding it out... i'd just like a newer reliable motor. While I enjoy speed and acceleration, this is mostly a project for me and my daughter to have fun driving around, seeing cars and coffee events, etc.

Knowing this, i want to get all the parts i need for a F23 swap as well as a 3800 NA swap and tackle everything in one fell swoop next winter and piecemeal everything this summer.

Westcoastfiero.com has everything I need, but i've heard so many negative reviews about stuff being shipped, but taking months to get them to you.

Who else currently makes mounts for either swap? and the F23 swap i know needs a separate shift cable mount as well. Any information would be GREATLY appreciated!
While I do also have a welder and can modify/fabricate things... the mounts i've seen look way to complex for me to tackle.

I bought the brackets and cables from WCF. Hellishly expensive. (You've been shopping, so you probably already know that.)
They were promised as "two week turnaround". Took three weeks, so I'm not complaining about that.

I'm told that Fiero Rog is now making F23 brackets. He has also been doing 3800 stuff for a long time. He's generally highly regarded, although I've never worked with him. (I tried. He was not making F23 stuff when I asked him.)

I've found that from dealing with WCF they have been honest but a few customers have reported that delivery times can vary. In my case my 3800SC series III /4T65eHD mounts purchased years ago arrived promptly.
Have also dealt with Fierorog, He is reputable and delivers in good time. He's a very honest source.
As for the swaps that we have done; sometimes we purchased mounts while other times we just modified the original GM mounts. You cannot always do this but with a bit off metalwork and a good welder you can get the job done.
