Hey Yall, I'm looking to get some new rear hubs for my 88 GT

I'm a little confused about where id be able to get a set of these from as options here in Canada seem to be limited

I have seen several listed for 84-88 Fiero's but I was unsure if the hubs would be the same between the 88 GT and all the other years

I took a look at the list of vendors shown through Pennock's and just thought id ask for some more info or recommendations from the experts before I dig to deep

Cheers!

EDIT: I was looking at the wheel bearing assembly's that the Fiero store sells (Part # 58504)

I seen that they are listed for 84-88 and a better question for me to ask is would these hubs work?

I know that the 88GT has a different suspension, What parts are interchangeable through all the years?

Thanks

Read *This* Thread:

1988 Fiero rear wheel bearing upgrade for durability by Steven Snyder
https://www.fiero.nl/forum/Forum2/HTML/134524.html

quote
The 84-88 Fiero rear bearing (the same bearing was used for all years) has a 71mm hub pilot diameter (minimum bore size in the knuckle) and a 102mm bolt circle on the mounting flange.

My opinion would be buying a quality brand and avoid cheap rear hub replacements; means stay away from e-bay deals or rock-bottom prices from discount car part chains...

Rock Auto has a large selection...

Thank you! I'm assuming that there is no difference between the 88GT vs any other years then?

I don't see very many choices for rear hub bearing assemblies. Used to buy Timken and Bower brands but they may now be questionable imports. Europe, the USA and Japan make good bearings but IMO the rest are an unknown,

I have found NOS GM and made in USA rear hubs on ebay for reasonable prices. According to RockAuto the Fiero rear hub fits many GM front drive cars.
