It’s definitely an interesting car in respects to driving it around, the wow look at that factor is off the charts and the one thing I get a lot lately is people saying I’ve never seen one of these, which I usually reply you may never see one again.
I have a question for you What chassis was it built on, and is it one of the kits sold on eBay out of California? I do like the Gello fly yellow!! Thanks Bud Wayne
Built on Ferrari 308 chassis, not from eBay, the original guy Jim Carpenter did it he started the 288 on Ferrari 308 chassis conversions in the late 80’s or early 90’s, anyone else has just splashed his design like the one on eBay
Thanks Rob, been awhile since I’ve talked to ya. How the business going these days, man you sure have amazing talent
Hey Rob, love that GTO, exhaust must sound great. Well not as much going on with Fiero based rebody projects. I've been doing Fiero G1 interior swaps past few years. Maybe I should start do upholstery work for Ferrari / other sportscar owners. Does your 308 conversion guy need an interior guy?
They stopped doing the 288 conversion, they are working on a few under construction but that’s it for those. They are going to a F40 reboot in awhile. I can ask if they need an interior person.
