The short nose produced lift at speed ! Thats why the MKIs had the more familiar longer nose that made down force .

Before the Dells, there's always a crowd that gathers.....
The Michigan & Florida Fiero tour group stopped by on Thursday on the way to the Dells.
It was rainy & damp, we managed to do a little clutch master cylinder repair on 1 car & that made time for a nice long visit before they were on their way....
My guys getting ready to leave for the Dells show on Friday.
Kris, Rob & Chuck......

For the last couple of weeks we've been working on a couple of projects.
One of those is the GT40 LS3 SC installation featuring the Edelbrock E-Force Supercharger.
Here, we've mounted the Heat Exchanger for the SC.
We have it up on the lift to install the Fuel pump, run the intercooling lines, Battery cables, Water pump & cooling connections.
Big time Electric Waterpump mounted in front of the right rear tire....
Intercooler pump mounted.
Intercooler reservoir mounted
P.S. Reservoir, & thermostat block mounted
Tomorrow morning, we are going to do a quick first test run of the engine.....

I think I'm in the mood to do another group buy on bolt on kits for the Lambo doors.
Anyone interested???
This set took Rob & Kris about 90 minutes to put on & they work great.

That's good news. Never bolt on. Tweak it first.

They will be $1150.00 per set & will be a direct bolt-on to a stock Fiero.
We fitted the 1st set this week & the fit is as good or better than the last group we did. Better yet, the price is less.
I'll try to post a group buy in the Mall today.

Wow Archie... between the Muira and the GT40 replica, I'm not sure which one I would choose if I could have only one! I would imagine there were some similarities in the way you modified both chassis, such that the GT40 was likely easier with experience behind you. Both are stunning cars.
Keep the photos coming!

Thanks, both cars were very labor intensive & were similar in Chasis construction. The Miura chassis had to be stretched in front of the passenger compartment by 5". The chassis on the GT40 was a bit easier on this car because we built a welding jig for the chassis after we did the 1st GT40 a few years ago. On both cars, after all the welding & the initial body test fitting, the Chassis' were both 100% Powder Coated before final assembly started.
After that theMiura as more labor intensive because less was known about the body shape what it was "supposed" to look like when it was done. the body we got from the U.K. was just a shell that was warping out of shape as we worked with it. And it has no instructions of guide as to how to build it. For example, on the doors there was no information provided as to what window could be used or how to attach it or operate it. nothing, not a clue.
If I had one of them for myself, it would be the Miura. It had a little better ride with the longer wheelbase. Was easier to get in & out of. The craftmanship that Rob & Kris have in that car is going to be hard to beat by anyone for a long time.
