Yes. Archie and I discussed this last week. Archie corrected me about masking off the lower exposed area using darkened window tint. He said that it would block the rear view so that idea was tossed and he's going to cut' n glass a piece in the area underneath the glass (on top of the cut trunk section).

Curley, that car is just flat out SICK!!!!! I can't think of a single thing that I don't like about it. I hope you don't mind, but I may have to "appropriate" a few of the design elements into mine as things take shape. ------------------ "You may be a king or a city streetsweeper, but sooner or later, you dance with the reaper."

LOL, I think you should hook it up... It's the law in NY. My Proud-1 was a NY car and came with a functional rear window defogger. I actually liked it, I found that in the humid climate of Houston, the heat from the engine would fog the window. I lost my defroster rear window in the chop, and I miss it. I still have the glass though, I might put it on my Indy someday

Nope. I don't mind. I've done the same thing..taking items I've seen on other Fieros here and then tweeking it. Bolt-ons are boring but, tweeking is fun.

I looked into it and found that the distal end of the rear glass is sloped downward at a very step angle which mimicks the Crossfire's buttrist. IMO the only options (so far) are the Audi's rear hatchback glass. Granted, anything is possible and more cars on the market are being produced for our "pipe dream" comsumption. Currently I'm eye ballin' the Hybrid Prius rear deck window for a future project. It's similar to the Ford GT but 1k less. The Lexus sport 2-seater coupe is another candidate for rear window application. [This message has been edited by madcurl (edited 12-02-2006).]

Look here for Redux pics https://www.fiero.nl/forum/Forum1/HTML/037188.html Currently they're no plans for painting it anytime soon. I have mock-up plans for this car. As for #015 and #020 being painted. #020 will be painted in 2007 prior to the CTHC II in Viper red or something along those lines. #015 is on the back-burner now but, I'm looking at maybe black? I have a few ole' tricks for this car and the color black will make it "popish." I still haven't abandon the "stealth" look. Granted, nothing is etched in stones so I continue to pipe out new ideas and colors....just ask Tony, hehe.

Maybe in a few weeks? Right now my mind is focused on the front end. I gotta few tweeks up my sleeve. | quote | Originally posted by Archie:
You know, it might be interesting to post up some dimensions of different back windows that might work in Fieros.
I'm sure many Fiero owners have other cars that have back windows, it would be interesting if they would post dimensions of them.
Here are the dimensions of the 350Z rear window.

Curly you might have a hard time getting that back from Troy once he sees it hehehe. Now i know why madcurl has so many cars !! Too many darned choices for just one car !
