I love how you guys have the doors flowing into the quarter panels, and the ground effects are awesome. That car is very nice, especially since you guys are adjusting the nose. ------------------ 1987 GT 3.4 DOHC turboed Updated page 11/3/06 http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/167457/1

Awesome work guys! It's great to see how the parts - as they are added and tweeked begin to flow into a final(ish) looking design.
Love the progress - from when I saw Norm to the front clip installation!

I think we know what we're going to do but feel free to do a PShop if you want. It's going to be a few weeks because we still have to pull a mold off of the rockers before we build in that area. We're doing wide body rocker molds but the "mold" will be BFFE. (Before Flipper Front End). Archie

I ment to update this thread yesterday but I've been trying to convert some of my instruction videos to DVD's & that's a lot harder than you might think. We're going to call this "Hot Wings Friday" because most of this week has been dedicated to installing the wings on Curley & Troy's cars. So here is the Hot Wing update for Curley's car...... 1st we used some self tapping screws to fasten the wing to the car.... Then we glassed the wing on & made cuts to split off the wing tips. After glassing the wing on, we remove the self tapping screws.... We'll have to do some work to blend the wing tips into the body.... ..............

We have to glass in the open ends of the wing & the wing tips. While we are doing this & waiting for fiberglass or body filler to harden up, we are also working on other areas of the body, like the nose..... ............

That was part of one the clues from page 10 with regards to this pic: While at the FieroRama show 2006, I was eyeballin' this car for several hours. [Reality] The idea was too, tweek the existing IRM rocker just a little.... [This message has been edited by madcurl (edited 02-10-2007).]

Building the new "Pinch Weld" for the new windshield to sit on. Welding in the bar accross the base of the windshield. This is going to be what it look like.... The all Handbuilt Pinch Weld is welded on the car..... Welding in some sheet metal to close off the front compartment from the interior side of the windshield..... The "oldest" guy on the forum (Orville 70+ yrs old) is the person who came up with this great idea and Archie and the Crew is tweeking Orville's original idea. Who says, "Ya can't teach a old dog new tricks." In this case, Orville is teaching the young dogs a few new tricks and "Archie and the Crew" are conducting a "class" on tweeking. Respect your elders, hehe. Orville The "Duke" of my glass Inspiration [This message has been edited by madcurl (edited 02-19-2007).]
