Hey Curly since I let your blue monster hang out in my garage for awhile maybe you can let the silver one hang out for a few maybe that will heìp me get a toy going at my place again.
Oh well, the shop did get me a set of lock screws for the Camero hood vents. I saw a blue Camero parked next to me the other day. Amazing how you can tweak your car using simple parts already available.
Blame it on day light savings time. After visiting relatives, by the time I got around to tweaking #020 there was barely sunlight left. However, fresh pics on the 25th. I spent the remaining time testing the clearance on the 20x12's and I notice I need a taller sleeve. The current sleeves are 5" and maybe 6-8 should do the trick. The spring too might need changing and I think a 10" tall 400 rate spring should work fine. The original rear springs were 12" from D1S. These work just fine and the ride was perfect.
The new springs are okay, but 10" would be better along with a taller sleeve.
Although there's clearance (1 finger width) I'd like to get the spring beyond the tire area (similar to #022).
5" isn't enough.
As you can see I need more height.
Anyway, I'll have to call WCF this week for taller sleeves and spring. It was around 16:00hrs and I was about to pull the car out for pics, but the car didn't start. It was then I noticed that I was out of gas. BTW, great job V8Archie for hooking up the Dakota Digital fuel gauge. I must say that it's way better than the stock gauge. As you can see it's reading, "03" which means I'm out of gas. I remember putting nearly 5 gallons when the car was at the shop.
By the time I got back from the gas station it was too late for any good pics, but I hope to take several on the 25th. Sorry about that Archie.

I got a chance to button down the Camero hood vents except for one screw on each side! It must be the extra, extra think paint on the bottom of the hood. Oh well, three out of four will have to do for now.
As I mentioned, I lost the sunlight, but for now this was the best I could do for tonight.
I switched out the right side for comparison views. The black HRE 547 are for #015, but I like the option of using both styles.

Gorgeous car! You should rethink the rim choice. That black set looks better with the car than the bright chrome set imo. It matches the black accents you have around the car. Regardless its beautiful! Thank you for sharing it!
Yep. I'm following Jscott's lead. I need a white Fiero to complete the set.
NOPE... What you need is to take those insane looking wheels and tires off this blue car. Love #20 black wheels but these on this blue car look absurd. Hope thats not too blunt but man that needs to be fixed bro.
I don't like the painted area behind the wheels and since this area will eventually get roughed up I thought by adding flares or mud flaps might make a soon-to-be ugly area pop!
and it works!
I made a templet and copied the pattern onto the C6 mud flaps (front and rear). I couldn't hold the part close to the fender while holding the camera, but you get the idea. I'll have to do a bit more tweaking, but the part looks OEM and in black. The flaps should accent the rest of the blacked out areas.
I'll have to use a piece from the inners to patch up the area were it's now red. I will now buy two more sets for the other choppers. It would be a nice piece to fiberglass for those who have the MadArch kit.

What don't you like about those wheels? Personally, they are my favorite set of HRE's that madcurl owns.
The blue car is up for a widebody treatment eventually if that's what you're worried about. Madcurl hasn't even began to tweak that monster yet, but might just be my favorite once he does (I got mad love for notchies).

Thanks. Oh yeah, bwy-you are correct.
I hope to have the car looking similar to MotorTV's notchie using the MadArch widebody kit-
As you can see, using the MadArch widebody notchie kit you don't need a chop for it looks good "as-is."
The car's color will remain blue (as-is) using the blacked out HRE 445's. The HRE were on Ebay for $900. I told others about the wheels but nobody (at the time) could envision them being tweaked. The 445's were sent to HRE in CA for tweaking. The wheels were originally 18x8, but were morbidly changed to 18x12(r), 18x8.5(f). The lips are gloss black and the centers are flat black. I hope to continue John Tennay's vision of creating a truely tweaked out 3800SC w/turbo. The only changes will be; the body, seats, wingless, wheels, and re-tweaking of the Norm's front flipper by V8Archie and the Crew.

Thanks. The splash guards will now be included in all of my projects.
I just want to say all BS to the side you have put together a very nice looking car.
Thanks, but the credit goes to V8Archie and the Crew, Norm, Troyboy, Exoticse, and Fiero4.9 for if it wasn't for these people #020 would have never been built.

So many pictures but none all lit up!? I'm sure I'm not the only one who wants to see those blacked out side markers and tail lights come to life. Headlights too. This has gotta be one of the best looking modded fieros out there!

Sorry. The shop disconnected all of the lights (except the rear-LOL) and one of the "PONTIAC" light is out. No big deal for I had them all lit up before (except the side black out lights).

I figured that is were it was going and that is what I was referring to. LOL Yes, thank you Curly for putting a widebody on her as it will look MUCH better.
I don't know..........You made a nice car BUT I think I would rather buy one of these and have plenty left over for gas
Superlite SLC Intro Beauty on the outside, beauty on the inside.
The Superlite SLC was designed and engineered by a small group of dedicated engineers, designers and craftsmen. It never passed through a committee, and we didn’t make any Powerpoints while it was in the process of creation. That’s because we only needed to answer to our own vision of what the perfect Supercar would be.
And that is why the Superlite SLC is so pure in line. And so technologically advanced.
You see, we didn’t want another “me too” car based on old-design tube-chassis and riveted aluminum panels that was ancient even at the end of the last century. We didn’t want a body that looked swoopy but was hard to see out of, or was too difficult and expensive for an average builder to build because of poor fitting panels and lousy surfaces.
So the Superlite SLC had to be a clean-sheet, modern car that was infused with state of the art technology that helps make the car easier to build- and better to drive.
For example, It has Class-A finishes on every panel so you don’t even need to paint it- you can buff the gelcoat and go. Or use a vinyl wrap if you want.
The doors fit right out of the mold, and don’t need weeks of trimming and fettling to attach properly to the body.
The chassis doesn’t have sloppy MIG welds with spatter everywhere, and welds that need to be ground off to fit aluminum panels. The SLC chassis is the stiffest on the market, with beautiful TIG welds, no spatter, and requires no more work to be done to it as delivered. The SLC even has custom aluminum suspension arms and uprights that are CNC-machined in house, instead of re-using old parts from a car with a completely different engine/drive configuration. All SLCs have double-adjustable aluminum shocks that are race-derived, not fixed-rate shocks that are supposed to work for every situation and builder. The chassis and suspension parts are truly designed to work together, so you have proper camber and bump-steer curves, and more than enough caster.
So the Superlite Coupe has a modern chassis with a proper suspension, and a great-looking body with superb fit and finish. Is it as fast as it looks- or is it something that just looks racy?
This year Superlite Cars decided to prove to themselves, and everyone else, that the Superlite Coupe was much more than just an easy-to-build, modern supercar. So we went racing.
And won.
We didn’t just win a few races, we set lap records at every track we visited on the way to winning the 2011 NASA Super Unlimited class National Championship. We dominated at the National Championships, capturing pole position for every race, winning both qualifying races, and almost lapping the entire class in the final National Championship race.
All this in a car that you can buy today from Superlite Cars. Everything on the Championship- winning car is a standard or optional off-the-shelf part from Superlite. We sell what we race, so our builders and owners can have the confidence that their cars are actually race proven.
The Superlite SLC has great looks, a modern chassis, and now, a racing history.
It’s a beautiful thing.

It's all the little things that make a car special............ no need for lights
Funny that you mentioned Factory Five. I've been talking to the owner and have reached a down payment and what I want. You can see the details regarding what I want on the SEMA thread.

Nah, I like Factory Five and for 50k you're "good to go." There's a GTM on Ebay right now for 50k and with a LS engine and another one for 100k. I think either F5 would look sweet inside my garage next to #020. If you want one real bad I can give you his #.
