Watching this dream come true for you Tony, I'm SO filled with envy! Nah...just thrilled to see a great guy get a great ride. I'm just hoping you don't paint it a certain favorite color of mine and make me have to hide my car in shame ....
I had a great visit with your car and I like the future plans for the wide body Dean and I have worked out a wide body for mine to. I think you probably know what I’m talking about
Sorry I only got a couple pictures of your car as I was to busy talking with Dean instead of taking photos LOL
It's amazing that you knew exactly what the side of the barrel in the backround looked like.

Well, you know once I cut the spoiler out it was pretty obvious. I mean it was right there!

P.S. BTW, I am going to be in Rockford on June 7 doing another Creative Suite workshop, the offer is still open to drop in. Maybe I can "Learn ya" something

Tony's car gets a little love yesterday and today. fixing a few things as well as finishing the install up. I love the new shop with the lifts it is making my life much better. if all goes well we will be driving the car tonight. D.
Is that a crushed Coolant Tube i see under the Driver side front? ? ?
hehehe sorry, could not resist! When she getting paint?
Not a chance! we have done this a time or 2. it is close but it still has about 1/2" before the lift arm hits it.
we got the major part of the work done yesterday but ran into a problem with the oil pan GM has reworked them because they crack from the gasket area and this one was on exception. I ordered a new one and it will be here I hope today so we can get the car rolling. D.
we got the car done yesterday and took it out on it's first drive. it still needs to be tuned, the motor runs great but it has a few codes we need to clear. the trans is stuck in limp mode until the tune is done as well but it runs and drives now. we will be tuning it this next week and see about getting a few trips up and down the road. I was also able to get the tips installed as well. I will keep you posted with more soon. D.
Dean this is exactly how i want my hips to look like !! Love that shelf,.......Seeeeexy !
Looks are deceiving. #020 C-pillar is not only rolled back into the 350Z window, but it has a trailing edge that ramps back towards the glass.

In other words the hips are exaggerated by them being "rolled" into the glass as the F40 demonstrates. That allows for a semi-flat area above the hips.
Since #004 doesn't have a window to wrap around-at best the end result will be similar to Car-Lo's by moving in the C-pillars, but to achieve that "line" or shelf-like you'll need to copy Whodeannie's hip. They contain a shelf-like shape line or edge to achieve an aggressive hip-similar to the IMSA. Car-Lo's too contain a sharp line throughout.
