You know slammed your fiero was always one of my favorites, and in fact i regret not buying it when i had the chance, but as fate had it i stumbled onto another great deal and landed a choptop. Your car was and still is an inspiration. Sell one of those BMWs and hurry up and get yourself another fiero !

Ex, sell me the chop top and end all this drama
First thing I would do is slam a V-8 in there.
Anyhow, Good Luck and keep us posted.
Thanks Gary

As i will be switching to a GT clip, i will be offering the authentic V8- Archie chopped notchie clip for sale at some point. Those thinking of doing a homebrew choptop can be one step ahead of the game. You could mod your chop to fit the profesionally done clip. If interested shoot me a PM. Thanks Tony

Every now and then i see a notchie that gives me pause about switching to a GT clip
It happened again today.
Then i wake up and come back to my senses:
Now i see why Curly has so many choptops,...too many ideas for just one car !

Should i consider these ?
Ruff Racing 280's
Car will be torch red. Could do all chrome, or black with chrome lip. More focused on the style though. Looking for a little bling. Nice, but not blowing me away.

Tony, if I was to actually spend time on photoshops' I wouldn't have enough time in the day.. Most of the time when I do one, I geter done in about 5-10 mins. So please don't assume that is the basis of my capabilities :P.
But thanks anyways.. hehe.

No doubt that looks nice, but I haven't seen a notchback yet that wouldn't look better as a fastback.
Go ahead and get the fasback. You will be kicking yourself later if you don't.

Yeah J, I am pretty sold on the fastback, but the notchbacks are growing on me, so maybe that will be my next choptop ? I have an 86 coupe i can chop, and another GT that i may make into a choptop roadster. We will see.

I did a quicky 2 minute fastback conversion
Ps - is that a photoshop of Will-Martin's car? If he ever comes and picks up this fastback clip from me, he's going fastback!

A Fiero is about 46.9 inches tall, I believe. How tall is a chopped one?

Mine is about 44 inches, but that is on stock 88 coupe suspension. Curley's is probably an inch or two lower.

That's MinnGreenGT's car. In actuality, it's not chopped...that's a "photoshop chop". He's on the forum...you can PM him your questions on his modifications.

Yeah I photochopped it... My vision for his car was to of course chop the roof three inches, smooth out the fascia and trim, lower it, and raise the wing 2inches and and 2 inch wing extensions. Other than that, it's all real.

Hey Harry,
This project would have been done about 6 - 8 months ago except for some family issues that have really become a protracted PIA and serious money drain.
i am really just too nice for my own good unfortunatly.
There is relief in site. Not going to jinx it however and say when.
Best i can do right now.
** small update, just had a few more parts for my fastback conversion shipped to Archie's shop **
Thanks mrfiero !
* Still in need of a good GT decklid, trunk weatherstripping, and trunk squaring panels. *
