Archie said that the hinges he is working on will be a little different than the ones before. there will be no need to clearance the door from the fender because he moved the pivot point out farther. this is why sometimes it is better not to go first. LOL

Yeah these are the good hinges, modified and installed by Archie's team.
My next modifications will be Archie's widebody kit.
I will also be doing custom decklid and hood modifications, just have not decided upon what style yet.

Can the doors "close" when they are up? Or is that built in to the mechanism so it doesn't happen?

NO. There is a metal pin or bump stop that prevents the door from opening or closing until it reaches pass the bump stop.

the car is looking great. now whats next. LOL get on the ball Daytona is right around the corner. even if mine is not done and I have to tow it I think I will make it. it would be way more fun if it was drivable and painted.
