Are you considering spacing your front wheels out a bit to line up with the front fender? They look a tad tucked in.
Really beautiful car regardless. I'd say its pretty convincing!
Thanks!
No and for two reasons. First is the spacing is almost exactly the same as the OEM car, I measured. And second I would have to put a larger spacer and that would make the wheels sweep when I turn.
Here the photo of the OEM car, I tried as hard as I could to copy the factory spacing.
My Car.

To me your car looks better than the original! I love the skight forward rake.
I'm almost positive it isn't the one from your ebay thread. This one has the gorgeous Amida interior in it. That one on ebay didn't look half as nice inside. Though not a bad job overall on it, just not quite up to DeLorean00's quality. This is all my opinion though...
After a lot of new parts, tons of cleaning, and lots of trial and error, we got the cowl panel back installed and everything working. Still a lot of clean up of the under hood, but its getting close.
I had a really long day at work, and then came home and instead of going to parties with my friends or handing out candy, we spent the night installing the interior on the Ferrari. Things are getting really close now.
We have spent all day working on this car. We started by building a rear window molding. It came out great, and this trim has the red 3M tape on it, so its not going anywhere.
Here is the finished window trim. I really like the result!
The corners.
We have the whole car torn apart, putting the finishing touches on everything.
Also not the window tint was replaced, the first time applied it had some bubbles. So we had it redone.
This is going to be my FINAL update as the car shipped out today. We were literally working on the car right up to the second when we turned the keys over to the transport truck. This was 9 year of hard work, but I am really proud of the result. Please let me know what you guys think of the finished product.
Strapped in and waiting to go on its cross country trip to its new home. Good bye ol' friend. You have been a big part of my life for 9 years. I am unsure what to do with my weekends now.
This os the only kit car that I fell in love with a true reproduction and a job well done and it must be heartbreaking to see it go .......... not mine but im going to miss you.

Thank you. And it is heart breaking to see it go. I worked really hard to produce the most accurate reproduction Ferrari F355 that has ever been completed. Luckily I found a buyer that shared my vision and was able to help finance the last few upgrades to make it over the top.

Chris I see you changed the wheels from the ones you originally hade on the car, do you still have the old wheels or did you trade them in? I have been looking for wheels like you had on the car originally. Let me know if they are still around and if they are available. Nice job on the finished car, really looks good. Bob, from Napa
Unless it is personal, do you mind me asking why you sold the car ?? ** edit ** - never mind i saw, because of your beautiful home. i can understand that.
What is next ??
P.S. my new screen saver for this week !

Bob, the new owner bought the HRE wheels we have installed and asked the old wheels be returned to him. The old wheels were HP model 24 I believe. So I no longer have them.
Exoticse, thanks for the nice comments about my car! A lot of things have changed since I started building the car, I needed the money to buy the home that you see in the photos, and I also ended up marrying my dream girl last week. So I guess I just grew up, and needed the money for adult stuff. When I started building this car I was 24 years old, now I am 32. I had a lot of fun building the car, but I also was at the point where I wanted to do something new. As for a new project, I still have a couple of Fieros and a 1992 MR2 I am playing with, along with my daily driver E46 M3.

Transport company delivered the car yesterday. Will be providing updates soon. First thing that will be done is installing side view mirrors; adding grill mesh to the rocker panels, rear deck lid opening and lower area of the rear bumper; getting a four wheel alignment; installing headliner; installing seat belts: and lubing chassis. After those are completed, I will be installing a stainless steel custom exhaust and addressing any/all minor bugs.
Congrats to Mr rlndhill, the new owner of my pride and joy. I have never worked so hard on anything in my entire life. This car was the result of team work of some of the best people in the industry and some of my best friends. Sactodreamer, Brastic, rlndhill, Dave Held, Air Dynamics, The Fiero Store, Amida, Riceburner, Rodney Dickman, Mr Mike, DIY Stu, and the list goes on and on and on. They say it takes a community to raise a child, well it takes a whole nation to build a kit car. lol

Steve,
I'll be joining and you will see me there! I met you several years ago at the Burger King in Manassas and it was a pleasure chatting with you.
