I actually did alot of work on that corvette. Shes an 81 350 4spd fully optioned with blk leather. Drove down to kansas city to pick up a front end for her. Still doesn't mean nearly as much as my fieros do to me.
People have been bumping my other thread asking for updates..
Well. I'm getting married. Hows that? haha
Finally got my AWD Turbo winter beater, Audi A4.... , the wife to be is drivin my 02' Grand Cherokee Overland now.
I haven't been able to do work on the car in the winter in a while, however there will be lots of pictures once I get the car her out of storage in the spring time. Just a few more months and I get to play around again.
I've been told I'm only allowed one major toy/project at a time.. Soo the 87GT will be getting a few more fun things.
New engine, rear view mirror (compass / lights / dim etc), Heated seats... switches.. Exhaust tips..
We'll see all the funky things I can pull off this car and use... Humm (the wifes not going to like this). Least I've got two N*'s for when one blows up from the boost...
(I paid 500 dollars for the car inc. taxes, towing)

It was an insurance auction car. There was a 93 that went for 200 dollars.. in better shape than this one.. I don't know why anyone would buy these engines from Wreckers (Got quoted 2,500)
yeah thats mine I sold it to him lol, do you ever talk to him? I'll see if I can get in touch with him but if not ask him next time cause i'll buy it back!
Rotors 11.25 le baron (Coated / Painted from the factory), new plug wires (Blue taylor custom length 8.8mm), Apexi boost controller are in!
They do look a little small .. It'll be fine for now, but I'll probally end up upgrading in a few years. They sure do look perdy, and match the rim perfectly. This is next to the 18x8 Rear wheels. I'm running 17"s in the front so they'll look bigger.
Looking good. Just bought a new 3.4 dohc to throw in mine along with a new old stock tranny.
You'll have to chat with the club, hopefully some of us will be able to get together soon. There are a few just on the break of finishing some engine swaps. Glad you still have your fiero, good to see some of the other guys hanging in there.
It was raining, so I didn't feel like taking the vette out of the garage, to get some better pics of the brakes but here are a few more pictures.

I'll have my fiero on the road next week just to get some gas through it before winter. too busy racing the ducati this year to put a lot of miles on the GT... keep me posted.
Drop spindles, tubular control arms, coilovers (at there HIGHEST setting). We'll see how she sits with the widebody on, but I can always run taller springs to bring it up. I think they are 8" 350 Front /400 Rear.. springs.
Progress? I might be able to do that. First meet some friends of mine.
This is Cosworth. He's a Husky / Border Collie and he helps me out from time to time.
Then theres my inspiration... Meet Lobban. This little guy came with the car, and the P.O.'s name was Mr. Lobban.... glad you figured it out!
He just peeks over the cluster from time to time to make sure I'm still workin!
Speaking of work! Hey I actually did something today! Awesome.
Home Depot special,
Not too hard if you have ever installed carpet in a house before. Start out with a 3ft by 6ft piece of carpet (each side) and start cutting and carving tell it fits just perfect. I like it.
I just had these from a parts car (sts) so I figured they might look not too bad modified a little bit. Everything is going "tan or beige" btw... I'll be weeding out all the grey eventually.
looking forward to seeing how this turns out. I wanna see the F1 finders molded on!! and What are the F1 finders from/for? As for the center console what is that from? Looks good man keep up the good work
Firstly, I must say that this build is intense. I'm completely jealous of every aspect of this car. But also, are these gates functional? Sorry if you said it earlier in the thread, I just had time to look at the pics..
