What a great build. Wish I had just a fraction of your skills. Those last shots of the car from the side just look damn sexy!

Edit: I own a page after three years of being here lol!

Feels good to get the car up here. I have Speed Scene here in San Antonio building the new engine harness and programming the ECM and trans controller and trans harness for me it should be done the middle of January. If so I might get to fire the car up by the end of January.

With it being a little cooler out Gianina is happier to help. Plus she caught me over at the neighbors drooling over his new ZL1 Camaro. It might have been he was not home at the time but his wife was.

Gianina shut me down on more body changes said she wants it done already. So it will stay as is. I started smothing out what I have.

Going to try to do some more sanding today.

That is good news. The car should stay a Formula. Are you still planning on painting it Black or did she get her color choice also? Looks great as is.

Got an email from Speed Scene today should be another week and the new harness will be built and ready. So engine harness is still on schedule. I hope to get more sanding done this weekend.

Awesome work! I love it! If Gianina won't let you turn it into a GT. Maybe you could make a panel to fill in the triangle behind the door window and fake the GT look.

Just a thought.

Thank you all. Gianina and I took the car off the trailer today. Sad to say she could not hold the brakes without the power on and crashed into the workbench. A guy was driving by and stopped he said hey is that a Fiero? I said dang you know your cars. He was shocked to see the LS4 in it. I was a little shocked he knew what the car was.

I thought about that when you left. I had to take some pictures of the engine swap for the harness maker so I thought I would post a couple of them.

This was the email I got today.

Sweet. I have your base powers and grounds down and will be moving forward. The routing is perfect but I will see about tweaking some more tomorrow.

Thanks; I worked a little yesterday fitting the sail panels to go behind the side wing vent. I plan to have a rear camara on the car. Every choptop I have had a bad blind spot. You get use to using the side mirrors a lot.

when you modify the weather strip in the window area on a choptop, do you use weather strip adhesive to butt two pieces end to end?

Thanks,

Got to work on the car today. Added some more dyno glass. Worked on fitting the piece behind the T-Tops and the fast back vent pieces.

It was a long day of sanding more.

I like the way the back looks now. Gianina is turning away from me painting the car black. We talked today about Silver with black and gray snake skin stripes. I think she really liked the Silver chop so this one might end up Silver also.

This was such a nice looking car. I was looking back and thinking how nice it would have been just to add the LS4 and keep the car like you picked it up . Do you still have the wheels? I would like to have a white formula with those wheels. I would like to build the car you started with.

It was very clean and had a very rare blue interior. The more I look at it you are problllllyyyy right. I just get carried away a lot. The wheels are on Becca's car. Most body parts were sold. They are Enkei wheels you might be able to still buy them but not sure.

I get to pick up the engine harness tomorrow. Bad news is the yard gave me a Cadillac Northstar ECM (same part number but different program) back when so I had to get another ECM. I guess I will ebay the Northstar one to try to recoup that. Looks like I will get away from the body and work on getting the fuel lines and exhaust hooked up. I will get it running next before I get back to the bodywork. I needed a break from sanding anyway. I hope old Frankenstein comes to life soon.
