But seriously the Fiero is not a rare car like some people would like to believe. I can buy rust free Fiero’s all day long in Texas for as little as $100 bucks for a parts car. My brother just picked up a rust free 87 SE for $250 that runs. If I had a dollar for every time I read a post or a craigslist ad with rare Fiero in it I could buy 10,000 Fiero’s.
Thanks Terry, but don't yet, I'm still playing with size, I roughly taped on original size scoop (10% larger), to me the proportions look much better more like the sketch
Also Terry the bottom rocker will be cut, shaped as shown in green tape and be in black, just the scoop panel will be body color
No worries I had not played with one of your photos for awhile I may play around with what you are talking about and have been sharing your progress over on Facebook in a couple Fiero groups
Just keeps getting more interesting your garage car-lo
Looking forward to seeing a close to finished rendering or are you and Cliff going to continue to target ridding the world of all available Fiero hoods????

Keep it up as this car is looking amazing. Don
Thanks Don we're not sure about anything
Last week was pretty cold but no snow, just rain and today had a chance to play outside
Changed scoop to match the photo above a bit, the angle shapes go better with the overall look
The hood used for scoop panel does not have enough curve bonded curved alum angle to give it more shape
Thanks everyone for making this thread fun

I haven't been on this forum for quite some time since I sold my project, but have always continued to come back to this thread to watch your progress. Great to see you haven't given up on your dream car, and have kept that enthusiasm that many lose on long projects. (I'm guilty of that one) When you get this thing completed, and you pass through Calgary again, make sure you give me a heads up so I can see this thing in person.

Keep up the great work guys!!
Thanks SAFASTRO and great to hear from you we go back a long way when building RBS1 it never got finished, she was way too boring for me When ever RBS2 is finished we'll have to zip over, my favourite drive is from Vancouver to Calgary
Today just meshing around
Welded tabs to mesh, so can be removable

Are those the last gen. Toyota Celica headlights?....Plus are you gonna stay with a round gas door or more angular to match the rest of the body contours?
Yes, going with the body contours and angular fuel door, finally rough in fuel door, it was a Good Friday
Using existing RBS1 fuel door from Dodge Challenger
Got the idea from the Ferrari FXX, fuel door is recessed into body
Fuel door cut and tweaked to fit, recessed into body giving that raw race car flavour (or Mad Max Look)
