I still find it hard to believe that most all of the custom stuff we do (on all projects) is made out of flat sheets of fiberglass made on a Formica table top.
Also working on extending the extending the inside lips on the top & ends of the grill opening in the nose for the bumper we are making.
We had to extend these flanges to put in the nut clips to attach the bumper.
Whooooooh this car is just gonna be so badass when it is finished it is not funny. Best part is there will never be another one like it anywhere. Peace

Thanks for the kind words Guys, Lisa defiantly has a vi$ion on what she wants the finished product to be. Now she has moved on to tweaking the interior to her vi$ion starting with the G1 dash by Amida while Archie and I prepare to Fool around with the power plant.
BTW Archie did the coil pack covers arrive?

Yes they did. I'll post some pics in an hour or so when I get to the shop.

Absolutely beautiful work. From what I have seen so far in this thread, it sure looks like Archie will have this car looking better than new.

Hold that thought!!! After going over Lisa's thread pics and the mods to the rear we may need to keep the "Mystery holes" for something like this
If you look at the side profile of the car with the bumper tucked in (BTW we like that mod and want to keep it tucked in) if Lisa was to back into something it looks like the rear spoiler would take the impact before the bumper and destroy our new rear deck lid.

if we were to add the rubber bumper blocks and have them stick out just a few inches past the tail we would still have a tucked in bumper but with body & paint protection. what do you guys think?

OR, you could get rid of the '80's look and cut out the pockets & reglass the bumper.
