ReMera Updates: this was a picture taken yesterday...this is with 4 layers of paint on her.

At that point it highlighted a few minor imperfections (pin holes)...that were all addressed today and its back to the painting tomorrow morning.

Argenta UPDATE: Got the rear plate setup correctly and the wires situated for the rear backup camera portion.

Still need to get TX plates on her before she hits the road.

I also removed the sail windows prepping her for paint:

ReMera Update: Brian shipped off his bare G1 and auxiliary parts to Rob.

Once Rob receives the stuff, he will start upholstering it in the correct color and Brian will setup a time to drive down and pickup the G1 I have.
We really lucked out on this one... this is a mistake that only cost me time...that doesn't happen very often.

ReMera UPDATES: Well things don't always go in the time line as planned.
We did another re-coat on color today before laying down the clear, because we broke through in two spots while de-nibbing.

A little more time, but it will be SOOO worth it in the end!

Argenta UPDATE: Thinking about having air vents cut into the rear portions like this:

This images is larger than 153600 bytes. Click to view.
...like this... for air intake...it currently has no place for air intake as is.

Planning on powder coating a set of screens black chrome, wrapping them around from behind...similar of how we did BluDrm's side vents.

Also cleaned up the OEM sail panels...they are still in almost perfect condition...almost invisible scuff on the inside of the driver's side...you would probably never see it unless I pointed it out.

ReMera UPDATES: I posted in the mall a perfect set of Antera #609s (which are no longer produced) that I found on craigslist that were not mine.
This images is larger than 153600 bytes. Click to view.
17" +32 offset.

Well it only took 2 days of staring at them...I called, talked him down on price and they will be shipped Monday

Current rims on the ReMera will be moved to the "MyTestarossa" build...which are a better match for that one anyways.

Looked up after typing this post at my "classic car" calendar that my wife got me for X-Mas..should have flip it 4 days ago....I guess I enjoyed the picture...its a 65 Mustang...I had an actual 641/2 coupe, Wilmington white, palomino interior, rally pack and 3 Hurst 3 speed on the floor...these were my very 1st set of rims:

EXOTICSE...one step at a time

Next steps are to flip the 2.8 Turbo for my 3.4 Turbo, 13" brake upgrades, bigger brake booster, AMS rear and front coil-overs.

LornesGT,

It is GM's Crystal Red Tintcoat (GM# WA505Q).
It is actually considered a tri-coat, 3 stage finish.

Much appreciated for the heads up on the issue!

I am no longer a silent partner and broke that relationship months ago...I feel it is my place to try and assist, if I can.
