ReMera UPDATES: She has been sitting at the painter for the past 10 days or so because of the weather. She is suppose to be delivered tomorrow finally!
Here are some shots to hold over till tomorrow:
She needs to be washed...she has dust all over from sitting in the paint & fiberglass shop.
ReMera UPDATES: Think I might change up my steering wheel...inspired by another one I saw today on ebay:
or maybe this way:
It will marry a stock Fiero GT steering wheel hub and a Formula GT Mahogany Steering Wheel - Grant (704) and then wrapping the arms in the same ebony as my dash.
I also just found a guy who does custom wood shift knobs!
One thing I dislike about my Fiero is my old , gooey wrinkly poor excuse for a steering wheel . This looks like something I will do to my car .Great tip , thanks Opie .
Have the the rear deck lid vents to mount still. Carpet is here and ready for installation. In the next seven days I should receive my G1 Dash and the door panels shortly behind.
All the audio equipment is in route as well:
JVC KW-NSX700 Andriod MirrorLink Deck
Infinity Kappa 52.11i 5 1/4 Front Speakers
Sound Ordnance B-8PTD Powered Sub-woofer
A set of rear Rodney D's speakers
2 sets of head rest 3.5 speakers from the FieroStore:
I already have an Alpine - PDX-5M - 5 Channel 600W RMS amp ready to utilize as well

Order new Trunk seal from Will. Ordered New Side glass from Richard. Scheduled to go to Safelite on Tuesday for new windshield. Order 6 of these bolt LED lights: Instead of doing the 2 escort backup lights...I am going to do 3 bolt LEDs center on each side of the plate evenly spaced and centered from top to bottom and from license plate and each side edge.
LOL...just realized I need to flip the amber lenses to the outside and the red ones to the inside...painter did a great job with the paint...so can't be upset over something so minor...will flip them tomorrow!

Also the guys at www.EmlemArt.com want me to do a write up on my experience and post the finished photos of the badges on the ReMera on their Website http://www.emblemart.com/
ReMera UPDATES: Cleaning under the front hood and deck lid...all that shop dust is everywhere....going to take me a few days to detail.
Have the PISA replacement cowling...which we repainted to match the rest of the black on the car...to install after we replace the windshield this Saturday...4 pm appointment with Safelite to replace the windshield.
I forget you built this remara to sell, for personal use, or as a demo car for your shop ?
Exoticse,
This is for my personal collection and I currently have no partnership with any shop at this time. I have two different shops that I deal with for my personal vehicles at this point. One is a small shop here in TX and the other is ColorPro Fiberglass out of OK....excluding my personal shop (FieroCave)....where Stephen (MstangsBware) comes to assist with the engine swaps.
Speaking of that.....Mr. Poe...it is time to swap the 2.8 Turbo for the 3.4 Turbo ...hope you have your personal project wrapped up and you will be driving her to Spring Fling next weekend!
Mike from ColorPro is the only one that will be doing any of my body work or paint from here on out. I think the ReMera speaks for the quality of work that Mike does.
Each CREE LED produces approximately 500 lumens of light output at 6 watts each = a combined 3000 lumens of backup light...I think that is more than the escort backup light would have done.

ReMera UPDATES: Removed the inside door panel toppers for MERA/308/ReMera/328 concepts: Tubed up and ready to drop off at the Post Office tomorrow morning to ship to Rob Amida to add to the top of my G1 door panels for the ReMera:
A set of new green side glass are in route from Richard.
I have Safelite coming out on April 7th to change out the Windshield and two side windows..been gathering all the pieces to ensure it is done correctly:
Going to start gutting the interior in preparation for the new G1 dash

ReMera UPDATES: Rust-oleum all dry now and have the OEM foam pad laid in place:
I will get the carpet installed later today.
I will also be cutting my Gauge Pod and skeleton down sometime today as well...once that is done...then its waiting on the G1 dash and Mr.Mike's seat covers to arrive (any day now on the dash)...better be here before Saturday (fingers crossed).
ReMera UPDATES: Mr. Mike sent me a photo of the Proof for my custom stitch logo of "ReMera" for my seats. If you zoom in ...the white stuff is just cut white thread ends not imperfections.

ReMera UPDATES: Reinforced a falling apart headliner. (reminds me of a Klingon bird of prey) Used the following to build it back to a solid stiff and solid headliner:
3" wide strips of thin cardboard
Medical gauze
3M Supper 77 Adhesive
MEGA Hold hair spray
8x11 sheets of printer paper
Now I just need to recover in new material...then it will be good to go!
