ReMera UPDATES: Skins...just the 1st test fit before applying the extra foam from Mr. Mike..making note of what areas need to be built up...so everything lays correctly:
I order another kit from BD Trim real silver carbon fiber...have half the kit in Barbie and half in the Argenta...wanted to see how Kathy liked it in Barbie as well...she did...so now I needed a 2nd kit to finish both off:
ReMera UPDATES: Received digital AUX gauges from Tom Sweet:
Also preparing the interior that I pulled from the ReMera to go into its new Fiero: This car was picked up for the DOHC ...being swapped into the Argenta and the current 2.8 will be swapped into this one while keeping the 4 speed. This will be repainted with a daily driver paint job....may have found a cheaper way to get this done...removed the black plasti-dip from the 88 panels that were on the Testarossa originally:
I need to stick a few pieces into some clamps and glue them back to OEM form...then
Going to order a wood grain dash kit from BD Trim:
Medium Burl Wood
Already have a short shifter and boot for it.
Need to clean and pressure wash the OEM carpet that I pulled from the ReMera...then will install in this car as well.

ReMera UPDATES: PM from Amida last night...all the smaller interior pieces have been completed...only the rear side speaker panels still have to be completed.
I think they turned out really nice and will raise the bar just a little more on the interior

Sage...thanks and glad you enjoy it...it is here to entertain and inspire
ReMera UPDATES: Cut the tinted plexi-glass down to size for Tom's digital gauges:
Used stock to test..since the G1 is based off of stock...just mimic'd the clear stock one.
Measure
Mark
score a few times
snap a few times
file it to exact curves with hand file
SpeedHut gauge over-lays are due in tomorrow.
Amida is shipping the smaller pieces...which will me allow me to permanently install the G1 dash and get everything bolted down and wires tied into place. Which in turn will let me finish up all the wiring work for power mirror, power window & other switches, heated seats, USB ports, infotainment center , sub woofer, headrest speakers, etc.
ReMera UPDATES: Don't have the time to do the seats with work being busy...so dropping them off to Sue at ASM Auto Upholstery tomorrow around lunch...pick them up on Tuesday.
AuxilaryMultimediaPanel (AMP) ...I need to move the sub woofer knob over to the left a mm or 2 and down a hair...once I have it right...then I wrap it in the same carbon fiber as a few other trim pieces.
Argetna UPDATES: Pulled the DOHC from the donor car last night...need to clean her up and get her ready to install in the Argenta.
Also..the donor car frame is shot (serious cancer)...saved this engine just in the nick of time...so everything that is salvageable and worth a damn...will be yanked...then the frame will go off to the recycling yard.
This is where the cradle was attached...sorta (Driver's side rear): Indiana Car...snow, salt & sand from the winters.

ReMera UPDATES: The Lokar LED Dash indicator kit arrived:
A few more interior pieces to trickle in on the ReMera...so my game plan is to make the big push all next weekend and hopefully a week from this Sunday...I will have the ReMera's interior finished!

Be careful of where you get your suspension components from.
I got one of those packages from ebay and the ball joints were garbage. I had one of the threads on the ball joint fail. Then when I went to replace the ball joint, the press fit was oversized and the quality ball joints that I tried to put in after were sloppy and had to be welded in.

doublec4,
Appreciate the heads up...was suspect at the price and will do a very careful inspection of the parts...if looks like inferior...I will hunt down the TRW parts.

Picked up a pair of TRW Tie Rod Ends:
also picked up two TRW front upper and two front lower ball joints. Part #'s 10324 and 10326
