this is a really cool thread. I like the paint color! Anyone know, were Fiero's sold in Russia? Was it brought in from somewhere else in Europe?

Daniel have you thought of a lead-in to the front of the mirror mount area?
I was thinking blending it in a bit more to add some strength and perhaps maybe cut down on the
airodynamic drag/ wind noise?
Looks nice though.

Daniel,
How did the mirrors turn out?
by the way, are you starting to get winter there where you are?
We have mild weather here but damp and rainy.
Have you got a warm place to work on your Plazma this winter?

Hi, Zep!

Strange, but winter isn't started here yet. Usually is a lot of snow for this time of year here.
Rain and dump? In Saint-Petersburg the weather is rainy since 1703, all around the year.
Yes, I have warm place to work. Just left to find some time... Have a lot of work, so progress on Plazma going very slowly.

Sorry but... Didn't think I understand the meaning of question about mirrors. My english isn't good.

Some updates

Door glass seal manufacturing.

To made door glass seals, some extra wide of flange required.

Doing modifications of rear calipers to go with hidraulic e-brake and eliminate mechanical e-brake parts.

Welded holes in pistons

Hole in caliper sealed with bolt with copper washer and nut.

Daniel,
thought we lost you in a snow storm,
No snow yet far west of Chicago where I am at.

I really like the brake calipers like you did them. They look nice.

Me, I am out in the back yard in the driveway with my car up on ramps doing a rear main bearing seal.
It is a real pain. The weather is cold but dry right now. No fiero, a 94 thunderbird with a 4.6 engine...
I like seeing your work. Thanks for the reply!
Hope everything stays good for you.

Daniel,
I know it has been cold there especially even for your area. Heard it was like 40 degrees below zero Fahrenheit.

What's going on with your beautiful Plazma car?
Any updates?

Here it is

Making adapters for upper mount

I was have a problem with dusters for shocks, because dusters, what came in complect with shocks is can't be mounted! No way! It's don't fit with this shock, because they are too narrow. And I was forced too search the exit. That what I thought:
(i dont know name of this drink on english, may be some one gives me a hint) I was drank it, and then i do something with bottle

I was needed to drank couple of them. It wasn't difficult... and even some pretty...

And here is my new dusters, made from a plastic bottle

Assembled

Ok i just caught up on this build, but thats some MAD SKILZ coming outta Russia. I really noticed after seeing the template drawed out for the taillight backing plate. Where do you work (what do you do) when your not working on this Car? Because theres some talent and real skill in some of the pics youve posted. Just had to ask because theres shops in the US that dont go to all the trouble your doing. And skills like that are in wide demand over here. Great build, Awsome Tallent and wish you all the best of luck with it!!!

Hi, guys!

Sorry for long absence!
For last 3 years I'm involved to a big project of design and manufacturing ATV's.
And by the reason that we are launching production, I'm almost live here in China for last year.
And as you understand, I have no ability to work on my Plazma.

About the car:
For now I'm end up work with body and car is waiting for paintwork.
I has done some modifications about wiring harnesses, and had my Plazma's first start up!
Last thing I was working on it's front suspension modifications: expand the track for 80mm and install another brakes.

Welcome back Daniel. Good to see you're still around and working on your Plasma.

That sounds like a very interesting project that you are working on in China, and judging by your work in this thread, I'd say they picked the right guy to get it where it needs to be. Good luck with the launching, I hope it makes you a millionaire! Any chance we could see your project? Also, some of your pictures are very large and hard to get a look at on at least my monitor, any chance you could size them down before posting? Not a huge issue, just a curiosity thing.

Looking forward to more posts of your work and your car, but whenever you are able to get back to it. We really like seeing new ideas, innovations and being able to witness your skills, you are a true craftsman.

Thanks David for the translation. Just so used to signing off that way, didn't really consider I might have said something in another language that I didn't mean, or understand!

Don't want to sidetrack this thread, so will let it go at that.

GREAT build here, truly enjoying seeing Daniel's work. On a level with some of the best builders around.

YES!
Pictures are all better now! Thank you.

That is a fantastic looking machine you posted picture of!

We needed one of those this last winter, never been so ready for spring to come as I am this year. Long cold winter doesn't begin to describe it.

That was a line in George Harrison's song..."Here Comes The Sun" Long cold lonely winter.....it sure was.

Anxious to see you back to work on your Plasma, but..........we'll wait....
