Itās been a busy week , I got a few more pieces of the interior back so,Iāve started to install everything after testing all the modules and doing the final install
I finished the overhead carbon fiber lightpanel.
I finally got the front swaybar completed and installed I took the two bars cleaned them up and powder coated them
Your HVAC controller setup could be something you could repackage for the forum for folks that are doing interior swaps and want to move away from the stock Fiero HVAC controls. I remember someone on the site (maybe phonedawgs? I could be mistaken) was making a kit for a while that went with the Amida F355 interior. I don't know if those are still around or not.
Will your system have the "Auto" temperature control function like 'modern-ish' cars have (circa mid-90s+)? I know it typically requires two sensors, one to read the ambient temp in the car and one infrared sensor to read the temp of the windshield to get an idea of how hard it needs to run the fan.
Sorry guys for the long delay in posting updates, I had some setbacks on a couple areas specifically get my interior from the upholster and I found the front hood had a warp in it requiring me to lay up another one which required finishing.
As far as the HVAC controller Trinten , My buddy Don O. Built and designed it and I donāt believe he plans on making them available. I have had one fellow from another site that is a designer and has produced updated screens.
A couple of the dash installed
Here are a couple shots of the car all the panels are installed Iāll be polishing the car and taking pics to send along with my application to get it registered and insurance so I can start road testing and working out any bugs.
Take care Wayne

Been a "long time comin'"....but you DID IT! This build is right up there along side Bloozberry's 355 which is still in progress.
Absolutely amazing.
Can't think of anything that would be more satisfying than your getting to drive this beauty.
Keep the updates coming!
HAGO!
You make me blush Sage coming from you Thank you. Iām not sure itās of that status but it did turn out OKš
So I have one last piece to complete on the interior that being the door panels. Iāve been all over the place on what I wanted and what will look correct still trying to do it right. So starting with the door panel that I already built, I took the arm rest that I had for a 308 interior , I modified it into something that I think will work with the interior Iāve built.
Starting with the panel
Then taking the original 308 armrest
This is what it looks before modification
Then modified it to the new design
And what it will look like on the door panel
I also cut away a area for pulling the door closed
Iāll fiberglass the arms to beef them up before upholstery.
So The interior is finally finished , what a great feeling š„³
Picking up from where I left off on the interior built , so after modifications to the door pulls shape I coated in a slurry of light bondo and fiberglass resin I call Rondo.
Then after everything cured itās sanded flat and prepared for finishing
Then coated them with a tinted mixture of epoxy resin
Then when the coatings got to second stage of cure I layed the Carbon Fiber cloth on the part which is allowed to fully cure . Then 3 Coates of Epoxy resin were coated on the parts with sanding in between coats.
They are finish to a 1500 grit then clear coated in a clear coat satin finish.
The new upholster did a great job a quick only two weeks
I got everything installed and mounted today

The latest update , the car is now officially registered and insured and Iām working on a couple items that came up. In the research I did at the time I went with the PCS PB shifter and Paddle shifter, the 4T65eHD transmission has an internal TCU controller . Iāve now learned thatās not trueš¤¬ So Iāve now ordered PCSās TCU2800 transmission controller so once thatās installed Iāll do some more test drives. I was blown away as I got the car appraised for insurance purpose, by a very reputable company used by Haggarty and others it came in at 130K USD š„³

So much for cheap insurance. That just reinforces the great job you did...
When I got my Ferrari insured I was pleasantly surprised, though I stipulated Iād only drive it less than 1k miles a year it is $166 for 6 months and oddly as I have it insured in two states my Arizona insurance same company charged me 350 for 6 months, agreed value $150k

Yes Iām still around and the build is continuing, I have the car inspected , registered and insured and have taken it for a couple of shakedown test drivesā¦
From the test drives I found I screwed up. I purchased the PCS paddle shifters and the push button shifter GSM , I did me research and determined that the 4T65eHD trans had an internal transmission control unit āTCUā. I installed everything ran all the wiring protecting it from heat , install all the finished interior the car is complete rightā¦. š¤¬ Well although the trans shifts it does have electronic servos it requires an external TCU. So after waiting 2 months for the controller because of our postal strike and FedX holding all shipping to Canada I got the TCU2800 FROM PCS. Which meant I had to remove the interior to access all the wiring that I had hide before a bit of a setbackā¦ Iām currently having a technician programming the TCU. Iām still working on the 1/4 windows and getting the fender and hood vents redone.
Here are a few pics prior to ripping it apart, thanks for stopping by everyone
It's called "progress"....you know....two steps forward and one back. For some of us it's more like one step forward...TWO back! Don't ask me how I know this....
Don't have to tell you, it'll be worth the wait and the effort, to finally get it closer to your vision....just look at what you've done.....NOTHING can stop you from seeing this to total fruition and being able to enjoy the fruits of your labor.
You've done a better job than Detroit usually does. So many innovations, such attention to detail....and all done by you or under your supervision, without a "plant", or assembly line, or thousands of laborer's, or millions of dollars (though you might argue that one...LOL), just good ole' blood-sweat and tears....anybody that is not overly impressed by this build, has never attempted anything akin to it, and has no comprehension of the work and time required to pull it off. I salute you sir.
Keep the updates coming, you serve as inspiration to those of us with limited abilities, time and resources.....it CAN be done...if you just stick with it and work through the rough spots....Wayne did it....maybe I can too!
