glad you're still there. Try and keep a positive attitude, it'll go along way to helping your physical well being.

How about a drive in to Stu's house. A show of solidarity and support. We could even deliver some beer in person!

I am in a position where I must finish and sell the rest of what I have soon. I will not take any money until they are ready to ship. I have dreaded this past several months for owing people and falling short. short? Make that flat on my face!

I have way to many irons in the fire and so little time to do anything at all. Overwhelmed? Yeah a lot. Tomorrow night if I get home at a decent hr I will get production back up and running until I give out.

For sure.. its a hard thing to face your own mortality. Chin up Stu. I hope you get well soon. Nothing like being in constant pain to ruin your day. Rest and listen to your Dr's advice. I got back on my feet way too soon after my last surgery and I am still paying for that stupid mistake.

As of 12-12-12 Stu has delivered 2 of 8 prepaid sets/kits to my knowledge. He will not answer his phone and appears not to be answering pms or thread entries. This leads me to believe he has no intention of making good on the prepaids.

Cocofiero : received paypal <Set> <Upgrade free> received
LZ513 : received paypal <Set>
fierohobby: received money order <KIT>
jw3 : received paypal <Set>
flimbob : received paypal <KIT>
tesmith : received paypal <Set> received
OneSlowFiero : Received Paypal <KIT>
Michael P : Received Paypal <KIT>

Stu, you have had plenty of time to get these delivered. You even made a comment that they were boxed up and ready to ship. I think it's time for you to refund my money. Anyone who has contact with Stu ( NTFC members, etc... ) should try to get him to contact those who have been waiting over 6 months. $200.00 is alot of money to me.

For what it's worth, I won't make the assumption that Stu has no intention of delivering outstanding orders. And actually my order has not been received either. Isn't there anyone close to Stu (personally and geographically) who could check on him? I don't know Stu, but it would seem he had a stellar record on the forum until he got sick. Parts and money are important, but I'm more worried about the man.

Ok, wow how to start this post....

I just got off the phone with Stuart. He has had a lot, and I do mean a lot going on, and has not been on the forum in a while now. Everything I am posting in this message, I have been told by Stuart that it is Ok to do so. I'll speak for him when I say He is not trying to make excuses for tardiness on getting the dew wipes done, nor is he looking for sympathy. He just wants to give a bit of an explanation as to what the delays have been.

As many know, Stuart went through a divorce recently, and got full custody of his daughter. That alone, taking 2 incomes and 2 parents, and converting that to a single parent on a single income (With the same bills) is a pretty rough transition to make. This led to drinking pretty heavier over the course of time. Stuart told me he is now dealing with being diagnosed an alcoholic.

A few months back, he had to have surgery for a punctured lung, a condition that worsened and took quite some time to heal. During that process, being on the pain killers for an extended period of time, turned into a dependency aka addiction. For the past weeks Stuart has been in rehab, and is doing much better, but it is a slow and daunting process.

He told me that he just hit absolute rock bottom, and is working on climbing back up again. With winter approaching, He has plans in the coming days to make a workbench to put in a spare room in his house to work on the dew wipes. (Working in a cold garage is no fun!) This will generate some extra pocket money, and keep him busy doing something, and working towards goals. I was kidding with him on the phone and dubbed it "dew wipe therapy" LOL!

Are there any guarantees on when a certain amount of dew wipes will be done? No. Will they get done? Yes. He says he has enough materials to make roughly 30 sets of wipes.

Again, this is not some excuse for the delays, just an insight as to why.

Stuart is a stand up guy that would give anyone the shirt of of his back, so please be understanding as possible.

All that being said, WHERE are my dew wipes!!! ! ! ! ! ! ! Just kidding, I bough mine a couple years ago, and they are worth every penny! ! ! !

I would also like to add my well wishes for Stu and hope he can get his life back on track enough to continue producing a quality product. Especially since I will be needing new dew wipes for my car soon myself. But Stu really needs to take care of himself and his family above anything else.

Guys and Flimbob,

Yes I crashed hard and hid behind a fake "Doing a lot better act" John called me yesterday and was surprised I was able to answer. I did hit rock bottom and I am working on me to climb back up. Sometimes it takes an outsider to see you are in trouble before you are willing to accept it yourself.

Flimbob. I'll call you tomorrow Saturday to make arrangements to meet up. Maybe at the BBQ place and I'll treat you to lunch too.

Everyone else. I have to look at who I OWE. If you see this please let me know. Publically post it here so all can see. I hide nothing. COCO you have been so patient with me. IT HAS BEEN A YEAR! HE PREORDERED AND HAS BEEN SO AWESOME ABOUT IT. You will get more than just what you ordered. Some now, More later... Hope you feel like getting Beta parts later.

John has offered to fly here and spend a weekend. I trust John with my life and anyone else who personally knows him would do the same. While here if I have any more Dews to build we will finish them. He may even help me get my hobby room set up better to make it a lot easier to work in there and my daughter to be able to come and go in there as she pleases. I don't think John has a clue what he signed up for.

Stu
coming from an AA family I have seen what hitting the bottom looks like. Each day I thank God that I was spared that pain. I will as I am sure the rest of your fiero brothers and sister pray for your recovery. It is a long road but with your family, friends and beliefs you can make it.
Merry Christmas sir and the best to you and yours.

Oh boy what have I gotten myself into this time!?!

By the way Stu, something in all the rush I totally forgot to mention. A HUGE thanks to InfinateWill is in order here. I was on the phone with him the other day, and this whole idea came from him. It's because of him that I am even coming out there honestly......
