Thanks

Thanks for the good words skoon.

If i know that i will have enough interest in the knobs i might have to go and buy a 1/2 a cow in that color. The only problem is that a 1/2 a cow will probably cost me 270-320 dollars. Look at Mr. Mikes seats at least 3/4 cost in his seats is the leather. I only charge $35 per knob. It takes about 1 sq ft of material per knob roughly not every hide you get is 100% usable. So i would have to have buyers for roughly 9 people buy knobs before i can make a little money on the deal. With the little that people are buying right now it just doesnt justify it for me. If i do get another deal like i did on the material in the right thickness i would be more than happy to do these for people.

Cool product; surprised I hadn't noticed this thread before. I must order one!

I can't remember, is the stock automatic knob black leather, or dark gray on the dark gray interior cars? I'd run out and look at mine but its at home in the garage and I'm here at the office.

everyone keeps asking me to do steering wheels. I have the pattern but have not had time to make one yet. Right now i am trying to acquire funds to do the indy shify knobs for the indy owners to a tune of $270 for a 1/2 hide of leather. I may do a couple of steering wheels in the future but i am pretty sure that i will be charging a lot more than what i get per shift knob.

Met a guy who does interiors for cars that go to pebble beach, tour de elegance, and other .... high class hot rod shows. He had some interesting samples i got from him. Thought some people would want a leather that is EXTREMELY expensive and nice looking for the usual price of $35. Next month i have to raise prices $10 to make a little more money so that i can afford the color for indy cars and help me by larger pieces so that i can look into doing steering wheels. scraps of pieces from local guys are a lot cheaper than 1/2 a hide. Also here is some of the cores that i have covered that are ready to ship. Remember these prices are when you send me a core and i recover them for you. They also include shipping and insurance. If you dont have a core PM me and we might be able to work out a deal. Also always interested in trades for custom made parts. Hope you enjoy the pics.

winger that is a lot of questions.

1. I can recover the shift knobs. Yes i do beechwood.
2. I do not do spare tire covers see fiero thomas
3. steering wheels.... I am looking to do them but other projects come first right now. (indy arm rests)

If you have a core you can send $35.00 and core and i will get replacement out usually 1-2 buisness days.

Dont wait too long prices will go to $45 on 1 april!!!
