There is a need for this item. What is the anticipated selling price for the GT trunk weaterseal? Is it one pirce or a 4 piece construction?

Dennis, your guidance has been invaluable on the forum. I have learned an enormous amount from your posts and I hope you will please forgive me if this sound harsh but did you actually read my first post? I spent a tremendous amount of time spelling it all out.
Give it a quick once over and if you still have questions drop me a PM
Best regards,
Will

With having to do 4 separate extrusions run at the same time, the tooling costs 4 x the price. The other hurdle is that the minimum run is several thousand feet of gasket. Got to sell 'em if we make 'em. I should have another update toward the end of this week
Sweeeet... Glad to see interest (YOURS and ours) in this item is HIGH! That usually means the product WILL get produced and you should at the very least break-even
My thought: Maybe you can sell a large quantity to Rodney or The Fiero Store. You will get paid quickly, and they will absorb all the sellers fees, shipments, and all those distribution headaches. Just a thought. Thanks for your inpiration
Cordially, Kevin

Will, since most folks choose to respond here rather than pm you, please add me to the list as well. I had to cut out part of my original gasket and replace it with an aftermarket one that works but is not the best fit for my GT. Thanks; I'm sure that this is very labor, time, and capital intensive for you and the results will be outstanding. -Tom

I'm glad to see this being done and thank you for taking the time. I do not own a GT but do have a T-Top car that will need seals one day sooner than later. Most are and could be the cut off type which does not go around the complete door frame and is cut and overlaps just arfter the windshield and the sail panels. What I am hoping is that once you get the kinks worked out of the trunk seal that you may be able to work on these seals?? Just a thought. Thanks again for putting something like this back into the community especially since I am always asked for this seal when I have taken a trashed GT apart for parts. Rick B
Once this project is in full production, we will have other gaskets in the works. I am very encouraged by the interest in the GT trunk seal, we will have to see if that enthusiasm translates to purchases. Since the factory seals sold new for $129.00 when they were in production, price will not be an issue, what will be an issue is quality. I think we have that covered. rubber and synthetic technology has made huge advancements in the last 25 years. I very much appreciate the support and backing all of you have shown me. Consider this my "pay back" for all of the advice and guidance you all have given and will give me in the future

Perhaps I have jumped the gun too early on as they say. Ok just keep my questions in mind when parts are ready in 2010. IMO your target price seems in the ballpark.
