Scott - the covers with the raised lettering are $70 shipped in the US and $88 to Canada
I have worked out the bugs in the two-tone cover and I just finished this for "Fiero Jon" in Black with Yellow lettering. The letters have been cut out and the Yellow Vinyl installed on the back of the cover
Installed in his Fiero
The cover is actually only 1/8 inch thick, but this shows how the Yellow is attached
The introductory price thru Dec 31st this year on these will be $100 shipped in the US and $118 to Canada.
I just recieved the lighted sign as seen in the post above by "troyboy". I had it made a little smaller ( 7X5 ) so it will fit in the trunk cover. I have not covered the base with the vinyl as yet. I just wanted to show another option for the covers. Here it is just sitting on the base not lit up
Here are a couple lit up
When installed they will be recessed into the trunk cover and the wires will not show. They come in the Amber (shown), White, Blue, Green and Red. The price for the 7X5 is $55 plus shipping (about $7) I can add it to the raised lettered cover either before the letters, in between the FIERO and the GT, or after the lettering. The normal price for that cover is $70 plus the sign brings it to $132 shipped. I will discount the initial price by $13 to $119 shipped in the US. The regular price for the plain trunk cover is $55 and add the sign making it $117. I'll discount that one by $13 also to $104. If you have any questions or suggestions, let me know, and the pics really don't do the sign justice. Russ
Here are a couple pics of the sign installed in the trunk cover
UpClose
I just have the wire hooked to an external battery to show what it looks like lit up and the pics really don't do it justice, as it looks good lit or not. The second line that shows "GT" can also be changed to "SE", "INDY", etc. Questions, suggestions or comments, let me know Russ
fierogt27 - it comes with about four feet of wire so you can hook it up anyway you want to, such as directly to a 12 volt battery with a switch or like John said you can hook it up to the trunk light and then it should go out when you close the trunk.
About the same as the light should go out when you close the refridgerator door, but I've never tested either theory
I think that light stays on...never turns off. LOL Hey Russ, how about putting a digital picture frame into one of those? Maybe when the RottinChop is finished we can get together on some ideas.
BTW - that 2 tone cover is hot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
