Hi all,
we are currenty producing thermostat housings for the 3800 engine swaps. All welds are done with stainless steel. They are pressure tested and ready to bolt on.
Our prices are: $80 shipped to the lower 48 states with your old V6 housing returned to us, or $100 shipped to the lower 48 states outright.
Thanks,
Dave

It will work on all Fieros. The pre 87 will need to use the timing cover heater core support instead of the passenger side coolant pipe. This housing allows the highest point to be the fill point making bleeding the cooling system easier.
This also allows the intake and timing cover heater core supports to be blocked off for a cleaner install. I use this setup on all my swaps.

Hey if you don't have your heater hoses hooked up are you running a drilled t-stat or cycling some other way? You need some coolant flow with the t-stat closed or it will probably overheat on you. Just a heads up.

Dave, are you going to be making these as a standard produced item for your swaps or is this a one-time offer? I don't need one now, but might make the move to a 3800 down the road - and if I do, I might need one of your housings.

Normally we make up four or five at a time, so I normally have them ready for my swaps. I don't see us stopping building them anytime in the near future....as long as the demand is there, we will make them.

Hmm. I tried installing mine, but there is an interference with the boost bypass valve. Anyone had this problem before?

Maybe it's a difference between the Gen 3 blower and Gen V like I have with my Series III?

I don't run a BBV on any swap I build. I'll see if the next batch I make will clear the BBV...sorry if it caused any issues.

I used two manual Fiero axles (chaged the inner tri-pot on one to fit the 4t65) for my swap. This centered my motor (moved it over to the PS more) and I am wondering if mine will line up like yours Motor is still out of the car at the moment while I tidy up some lose ends...

the dogbone lines up for our auto swaps every time and it is a little off on our manual swaps (we mod the dogbone a bit to get it to look good). I use WCF mounts and redrill them to fit better.

As for the series I, I am not sure. I don't have anything here to ensure it would work.
