I just finished the prototype and they are ready to produce. These are covered in Black Carbon Fiber Vinyl. I have the usual colors of Carbon Fiber Vinyl available beside the Black, or just about any other color Vinyl, and I can do the French Seam Stitching in a contrasting color. I'll need your armrests in exchange and the intro cost is $55 shipped for the pair with exchange. Question, Comments, Suggestions are always welcome Russ www.rwupholstery.com

WOW those look great, and would match perfectly to the carbon fiber sunroof panel you did for me. Question, how do you attach these back to the door? From the pics it looks like the holes are covered up... Another great looking part Ken~

Thanks. They attach with the stock screws and holes. The top screw is covered with the square button that's already there and I'll supply the buttons to cover the bottom holes. I just didn't cut the holes before I snapped the pic Russ

Falcon - PM replied Here is a pic of the armrest installed I have a few sets of stock armrests in my inventory, so as orders are received I will make them and ship them out, that way when you receive the covered armrest you can send yours back in the same box. This way your car won't be without armrests. Russ

Not doing leather currently as cost wise as they would be in the $200+ range per pair and I'm trying to keep the price down for most to afford However I'll look into the true costs involved, and see if I can make it work for those interested Russ [This message has been edited by Russ88TTop (edited 10-17-2011).]

As per the requests, I will be able to do the armrests in leather, however do to cost involved, I'll have to have three confirmed orders of the same color. When we have three, I'll ask for payment and then order the hide of leather. The cost for the initial one's will be $190. The stitching will be like the one's I'm currently producing. Thanks for your interest Russ [This message has been edited by Russ88TTop (edited 10-17-2011).]

I spoke with a few more of my suppliers and crunched some numbers for those interested in having the leather option. I can recover them in Black Leather for $160, other colors will be slightly higher. However I'm still going to require three orders as posted above Black Leather Commitments -- 2 Russ [This message has been edited by Russ88TTop (edited 10-19-2011).]

What kind of re-conditioning do you do if the foam along the top of the armrest is starting to break down?

I can do them in White Vinyl or Leather. Just to let everyone know, there are several other colors of the Carbon Fiber and I can come very close to the Grey, Tan and Beechwood colors used on the armrests, both in Vinyl and Leather. The cost of the vinyl one's are still $55 and Black Leather is $160, The other colors in Leather will run $175. I have two interested in Black leather, but no payment's so far.

Russ, I'm very interested in a set of black leather armrests. Would you be able to make a set and send me the leather covers and I'll cover my existing arm rests myself? I only ask as shipping between Canada and the US can get expensive. Please let me know...thanks.
