I know you will be needing Fiero booster rods. Is there a safe way for us to remove it to mail off to you? I would hate to loose an eye trying to remove it.
Thanks for making these available to us non welders.

To be welded up, the rod can be cut off with a hacksaw as long as possible. I also use/need the bracket from the Fiero booster.
But to remove the entire rod, the booster needs to be completely disassembled. And for that you really need specialty tools and equipment. They do NOT just pull out.

I am glad to do it, so many people put everything into HP and neglect the fact they need to be able to stop all that power.
I have the upgraded booster and love it, but I still notice that the pedal isn't the exact feel that I want. I have a big cam in my car and I know the vacuum is probably some of the problem, but wouldn't think it would limit anything. As far as upgrading to the S10 master cylinder...is that even remotely a good idea? I just want a firmer pedal that feels better and not so mushy I guess in a sense. Any ideas or opinions? Just thought I'd ask.

See the Ogre's Cave on "brakes" It explains why you don't want the master, also make sure your brakes are adjusted right as per the cave too. If your e-brake is not adjusted right, your brakes will have a longer travel than it should. That makes a big difference in pedal feel.

Ok I was just making sure. I don't have an E-Brake, and my brakes are an 88. I put front calipers on the front and rear so there is no adjustment for the rears. It feels fine, half of the issue is still my cam and the vacuum. Just thought I'd check.
Here are a couple of pics of the new(reman'd) booster. It has all new rubber inside and new seals. Basicly it is brand new, even the steel inside looks new. It also has a rust proof coating on the outside. I have allready modded this one with the Fiero pushrod and bracket.
2 more new boosters modded up and shipped out. Here are some pics of them to give a good idea of what the new(reman'd) ones look like. No welded rod, they come with the correct length Fiero rod and the Fiero bracket. And they are NOT made in china, yea.
Just a note: The actuator push rod was sticking out of the side of the box. Should probably wrap a piece of cardboard around the tip to help prevent that.

That is the first I have heard of that happening. I will add extra carboard to the shipping boxes from now on. Thanks for the heads up.
i got mine installed and what a great feel. I have looked at all kinds of upgrades to my 1986 S/E brakes. I have drove most all the upgrades out there from fellow Fiero friends. Let me assure you, if your stock, if you have converted to bigger rotors, bigger calipers, bigger pads, this is the best single upgrade available. If you have to do your upgrade in steps... this is step one.
My hats off to you for a great offering that does everything as promised and/or stated. I love the size and the install was so easy.
are you interested in pushrods, and brackets I have 2-3 spare boosters around I believe. 2 for sure.
I am, but shipping is kinda cost prohibitive. I am working out the details on a good way to send in the cores.
I will be outa town for a week so please hold off on orders untill 10/18, then it will be back to first come, first serve. You can PM me but I won't be able to respond for a week.
I need your advise, recently I purchased your brake booster (BTW very good quality and workmanship), haven't gotten around to install it yet. Can't wait though. My Fiero is an 88 with 17" wheels. I've been contemplating 12" Corvette rotor, is it necessary?
Thanks
