Freakishly fast shipping. I paid via PayPal Saturday morning and USPS just put the package on my doorstep. That's only three days and one of those was a Sunday! Thanks for the excellent shipping. Also, the mounts appear to be some very serious stuff. 5mm thick steel plate and nicely painted too. It may be a weekend or two before I have time to get them installed (daughter's wedding this weekend). Looking forward to seeing what kind of improvement I get with making the engine/trans level. I'll copy you back when I have them in and had a chance to try it out.
Thanks for the compliments and I will be interested to hear about the I install. We made these mounts because what was available did not seem to be stout enough for our application and we did not want to reuse any part of the flimsy stock mount brackets. We are glad you like them!

Well, you requested feedback regarding the install so here it is. This is one of the best upgrades I have done to my car. The drivers side did sit higher with the factory mounts and now the engine/trans appears to be sitting level. In addition, the car had some launch shudder in first gear with the factory mounts. That shudder is now gone ... probably due to the change in the angle of the driveshafts. It makes a huge difference in the way the car feels ... much better. The only question I have is, "What do other owners with 3800SC/ Getrag conversions use?"
I can't imagine what everyone else does. No part of the stock mounts were made for the HP we are doing. Hell, they were even bad in the stock motor application. Thanks for the purchase and the bump. Did you take pics of the install?
I didn't take any pictures of the install, but it looks just like the images that you posted in your initial thread. Only one way to bolt them in. Great fit.
