I have 3800sc or 3800na conversion flywheels. I sell them for $250 shipped in the lower 48 states. These are new flywheels that I turn down and balance to be used in a series II & III engine. The machining was done to enable the clutch to fit properly into the Fiero manual transmission. Please ask any questions you have. Thanks For looking. Roger cell 319-939-1285

Quick question, isn't the flywheel usually balanced by drilling material out of the backside versus drilling the face? That's been my experience... well, observation.
The flywheels i have been buying have been drilled on the front. I agree with you that I would have thought that it should be drilled on the back side.
You need to use the fiero clutch. The camaro clutch has a different input shaft. The fiero has a 1 inch 14 tooth shaft and the camaro has a 1 1/8 inch 26 tooth shaft.
Make sure the clutch matches the tranny you are using. The aftermarket heavy duty 4 speed clutch will not clear on a Fiero 5 speed Getrag and only certain clutches will work with the F23. Dan
Been trying to make a decision on a swap ( have a very low mileage Series I available ), but would like to keep my Getrag 5 spd. Been researching a flywheel for these, and know they are different, but wondered if you did Series I flywheels as well ( or know of a source).
Yes I do the series 1 also. If your going to do the swap, The series 2 is about 40 hp right out of the gate. I like my hp and I would look for a series 2. But thats just me. Thanks, Roger
The one I am looking at is a '95 series 1, so 225 hp, with less than 90K miles, for little money. Otherwise, I would look for a series II. Just can't pass up a bargain, especially with low miles. But getting my ducks in a row before I buy it- don't want to be caught with something that is totally unusable.
I'm sorry, I have been away from my computer for a few days. Yes I'm alive and well. Just been really busy. Your flywheel will be in the mail on Monday. Thanks again. Roger
I need to know what bolts I need for the pressure plat. And for the flywheel.
The exact GM part number for flywheel bolts is referenced on the Sinister Performance website. If you cannot find it I cann look it up in my own personal file when I get home

I got the clutch and flywheel bolts from the local GM dealership. Clutch bolts: part# 24571667 $2.60 each times 6= $15.60 Flywheel bolts: part# 24505092 $3.20 each times 8= $25.60
Torque specs: flywheel: 11 lb/ft + 50* (I like to use a bit of red thread lock on the bolts) clutch: 15 lb/ft + 45* (I like to use a bit of red thread lock on the bolts)
Are you still doing these? I am looking for one for a series II 3800 that I want to mate with an F40 transmission. I may have contacted you through eBay as well
