I sent you a pm but I’m not 100% sure my pms work. I guess this message is to test that.
I'm interested in a set...I believe I already have both ends here. Do you need to know the length ? Or is there a standard configuration that you are making... I'm not sure of the terminology though... can you explain? switch port???

All I really need to know is what compressor you will use. From that, there are a couple of different aluminum ends (known as manifolds) that I can use to build the hoses.
So what is a switch port? You'd think it was a port for a switch but that's not really true in this case. It's a port with a Schrader valve in it that is built into the hose. A pressure sensor screws onto this port and sends a signal to the PCM telling it what the pressure is inside the hose. From that, the PCM controls the compressor to regulate the optimal pressure in the AC lines.
I just got my ac lines today and they are just beautiful! So professional and clean and they are so well made. Perfect timing also since I will be working on the car this weekend! Thanks for everything. Pat Moody
Are you able to make a set for a 3400 swap? I have both ends necessary but now am not sure if the switch port is necessary for an OBD2 LA1? Are the overall hose lengths the same?
Are you still making these if so I have the 3800 hoses but I do not have the hoses they connect to the firewall Fiero AC units If you were to supply the port how much would you charge for me to have this done if I send you the core?
Does it matter which year of 3800 compressor is used? I have seen a few different compressor part numbers on Rock Auto for 3800 motors from 2002-2012,
Not sure if they have the same fittings for the hose? Also, would be great to charge a few bucks more and include the correct seals for the Fiero end and compressor end? just a suggestion

I recommend buying a compressor from a 99 Grand Prix... Or any other mid sized 3800 series 2. Some of the full size cars had compressors with one 1/2" port and one 9/16" port. My car uses this compressor but you have to be careful lining up the hoses on the back of the compressor or they can leak. Series 3 Grand Prix uses another compressor entirely. I have to use the aluminum manifold from that model car because the ports are configured completely different than the series 2 models.
The majority of builds use the standard series 2 compressor. For these I use the manifold from just about any mid sized (2 door) car with a Series 2 3800.
If your donor is a full sized (4 door) car it likely had a larger suction port on the back of the compressor. I still use the same manifold as above but if I know ahead of time I can turn a sleeve on my lathe that goes over the manifold's guide tube so that it fits properly inside the wider port. A wider seal is required but is readily available at most auto stores.
If your donor is a Series 3 Grand Prix, I have to use the manifolds from the S3 Grand Prix. Again, not an issue if I know ahead of time.
I normally quiz people on their setup prior to making their hoses.
As for the seals. I've given the part numbers here but I'd have to charge more to make it worth my time to buy them for you. And we Fiero folk are CHEAP!

Get an assortment from Autozone , Advance or O'Reileys. The packages they have here have the flat washer type for the 3800 end as well as the green O-ring type for the Fiero end. If your compressor has two different size ports, get this one. http://www.autozone.com/coo...l-sfi-sc/529591_0_0/
picture of what I am sending you. Is this correct?

Please excuse my ignorance but which cars are the midsized 3800 cars? And did i understand it right that you can make these for 84 Fieros?
------------------ I'm the original owner of a white ' 84 2M4 purchased Dec 10, 1983 from Pontiac. Always garaged, no rust, 4-wheel drifts are fun! 3800 SC swap to come!
Regal, Grand Prix, Monte Carlo Pretty much the 2 door models. Must be 3800 cars though. The 4 door and luxury cars won't have the right manifolds, even if they do have 3800s.
And yes, 84 Fiero is no problem.

Sorry, I normally ask if you need one and throw one in as a courtesy. I can drop one in the mail for you. I usually grab a few while I'm "shopping" for the 3800 manifolds at the salvage yard.
Yes But I don't have any Fiero cores right now. So I can't make one until I get a core. Someone was supposed to be sending an extra one with theirs but I haven't received them yet. I can let you know if I get one.
As for wiring, yes it has to be part of the engine harness but if it was made by any of the main people in recent history it should be there already.
On a side note, I will be changing prices soon. Making car stuff is becoming more of a business than a hobby and with that I have to start paying taxes and other overheads. It won't happen this month, maybe February. Anybody who had already contacted me will still get today's prices.
Just a review and comment- I have purchased this hose a few months ago and it works great- excellent quality and fit. You can unscrew the sensor from any junk yard 3800 car by hand and thread it into the port that comes on the line.
For quicker response (I don't get to check here as often as I'd like) email or text is best. My GMAIL account is chjesthe@gm..... From there I'll give out my cell # as well.
