A few months ago I did a first run of LED tail light kits for the notchback and the GT Fieros. Had a great positive response from people

I'm looking to do another run of both types and I would like to know how many people are interested?

Post up if you would be willing to order a kit! Please specify which type and please only post if you are very serious about ordering. I need to get an accurate indication of quantities to order for supplies.

Notchback LED Tail Lights:

More pictures/video/details/price can be found here:

GT LED Tail Lights:

More picturs/video/details/price can be found here:

http://embraceracing.com/GTLEDlights.php?e=0,3,4#0

If you have any questions, please feel free to post questions or send me a PM.

Also, forum member Danyel has been providing assembly service for those of you not comfortable with soldering. He currently has one fully assembled GT kit available for the first person who wants it. I believe his fully assembled price is $325 plus shipping.

Thank you!

I'd be in for a set if it kept the reverse lights or came with LED reverse lights in the stock locations.

These lights are sweet and I love the sequential function, but I would need reverse lights too

I'm assuming you're referring to the notchback kit, correct? The GT reverse lights are not eliminated.

For the notchback kit, you can relocate your reverse lights to those little reflectors in the rear bumper.

x2 on both of these. Can you get it without the sequential turn signals? Also, do the LED's wash out the PONTIAC on the GT?

I can't really customize the lights any more than I already have at this point to include the Pontiac logo. Developing and having the LED boards manufactured can be relatively expensive so I went with the lights that are used most often and that you would notice the most (brake / turn). Reverse lights and the Pontiac logo on the GT lights can just use regular LED bulbs for the most cost effective solution. The reverse lights are used so little that full LED panels would drive the cost of the kit way up. The Pontiac logo takes up so little real estate on the tail lights that again, it just wouldn't be worth the money. I would definitely suggest LED bulbs for those

Also, if you don't want the sequential function, just request it when you order and I can program it out to just flash normally.

My review of the LED tail light assembly for the Fiero GT

I have to admit I also thought that it was a bit pricey for a tail light upgrade. The video convinced me to give it a try I liked the look and function. After having these installed for about 2 months now I have to say this, if you don’t like your car attracting attention then this kit is not for you. My car had never attracted as much as it has since this install. I have actually had people follow me into parking lots to ask what kind of car it is. You will not be able to stop at a gas station without answering questions. Of all my upgrades to the car this is by far the best bang for the buck.

As for the Kit

If you can read and solder then you can do the assembly. If not order it completed for you. It took me about 1 ½ hours to assemble.
The kit was extremely well packaged and complete. Shipping was very fast.
To me the turn signal is more of a strobe effect then sequential which is really nice.
The tail lights will be just as bright as the new led ones on the new Dodge Charger. (other vehicles will not tailgate you)

My changes to the tail lights

I personally did not like the flash rate of the flasher that was suggested. I am using a Tridon LF12 which has a slightly slower flash rate which leaves the turn lights ALL on for a fraction of a second longer which I like much better.

After installing the boards the P O N T I A C in the rear was way too dim. I replaced them first with 5 5050 T-10 Led’s bulbs which was better but still not bright enough for me. I then changed to 9 5050 T-10 led’s which was much better and what I am using now. I found them HERE

For the reverse lights I went with LED Bulb 2x1156 BAY15S Cree 7.5W Car Signal Head light Lamp Super Bright White. They are very bright more like headlights. I found them HERE

Suggestion

A replacement parts list needs to be available parts do fail over time.

Keep making these. I know I'll want a set, but my Fiero has far greater needs right now. Side question, the 3rd brake light on your red notchback. Love it! Is that something you made or something I can order somewhere? Thank you!

I have these GT light since the beginning of sumer.... and I get ALOT of questions .... I did do a little tweeking on the reverse lights using some of my home made LED bars.
Here they are in action .... I do assemble these and the kit is really well made ....dont forget the back up lights are my modules I do not make or sell them

Here is a video of my rear GT LED tail lights with my homemade led reverse lights.....
