Ever get started on a project and buy everything new to build and then you went too far.? Well I bought a 3800 n/a but wanted supercharged motor instead..so now just sold that motor.I bought a pair of 3800 cylinder heads ported with intake done from Big Machine shop out of Sarasota Florida,and they look great. I bought a new never had fluid in it F40 6 speed transmission off ebay.I bought new cobalt SS axles oversized from zz performance. So then (before I sold the n/a engine) thinking how about turbocharging it. So I bought a new turbonetics T72 T4 A/R 96 950 hp turbo....same time bought a new northstar 4.4 custom supercharger m122 (was going to make my own intake) So not being focused,and overspent on the extravagant.Im looking to sell all. I have someone who is helping me dial in the right combo for my 88 GT.But need to sell all to fund this. I have all the pics, on my phone,and can email them to whoever is interested.Im in Spring hill ,an hour north of tampa.
Im asking 550 for the f40..like I said new !!!! and I paid 750 for it. The cobalt axles were from zzperformance on ebay for over 400 plus shipping I'll let it go for 325.00 The turbo which is huge and heavy you will see on ebay between 1000.00 and 1300.00 Ill let it go for 700.00 The brand new supercharger I spent 580. plus 90.00 shipping I'll let go for 500.00 mix and match or package deal..I need to get rid of..Plus if you come out and need things like fenders,taillights,ect..Trust me you could be going home with a full truck load.Because I have parts..lol Michael My email is phoenixbeginning@yahoo.com,and my cell 352 364 7645 for me to send pics too thanks and God Bless
Totally understand! Went from 3.4 pushrod turbo, to 3.4 dohc, to 3800sc, to ls4, sold it all, and now back to 3800sc, but its in the car this time. Will do a ls project later on down the road. Good luck with your project. I'm thinking of what I need. Ill pm you later.
What else is needed for the F40 trans swap? Special Clutch & Pressure Plate? Special Flywheel? Shifter modifications? Mounting Brackets? Speedo Conversion? Clutch Master/Slave Modification?

All that plus the intermediate shaft (JackShaft) for a V8 ..... but for a V6 not sure ....
Guys last week for this come Friday ill keep it all.Cylinder heads,and intake ..sold All is left I'd heavy duty cobalt ss axles new from zz performance which are 450.00 plus shipping with them on ebay And a brand new f40 6 speed trans.which I gave 650 for. . So I'll let the axles go for 275,and 450 for trans separate..or package deal for 700.plus shipping,or come pick up..this is good till Saturday ..my cell is 352 364 7645 for pics..thank u and God Bless.
