I designed and machined these brackets for the front of 84-87 fieros. They mount C5 corvette 13" rotors and calipers on the front. The brackets are one piece machined from 7075 Aluminum and powder coated black. I will include the required grade 10.9 M14x2 caliper mounting bolts and grade 8 7/16" bracket bolts and nuts. I will also include the required centering ring turned from 6061 Aluminum.
These are the parts I used to complete the install. All were purchaced from rockauto.com The rotors are slotted and drilled and come with pads, the calipers are rebuilt and include the caliper mount.
Power stop rotor and pad kit, K1559-26 A-1 cardone caliper 18-B4702 A-1 cardone caliper 18-B4703 Dorman Banjo bolt 13912 2 needed
Price for 2 brackets, 4 caliper mounting bolts, 4 bracket mounting bolts and two centering rings $150 shipped
For an extra $150 I can provide new front hubs with the correct 2" long wheel studs installed. I use new fiero front rotors, Brake-Best brand. I turn off the rotor portion, turn the face of the hub back to compensate for the vette rotor thickenss and install Dorman 2" long wheel studs.

How about a set for the rear, are you still making parts? I'd like a complete set, I bought the corvette calipers years ago, and still haven't gotten anyone to make a set of brackets for all four wheels. -Jason

Howdy Fierofreak00...been a while!
I just PM's him the same question this morning....I need 2 sets as well!
I would gladly design something that uses the c5 parts for the rear, but I don't have access to a 84-87 rear end. My 87GT has an 88 cradle and the other car I own is a 88 formula.
I have made brackets in the past to hold the c4 calipers on the rear. Looking for the files and prints now.

If anyone is interested in the c5 front brackets or hubs send me a PM and I will cut you a deal. Parts are just sitting and I need to at least break even on them. I only have one set of hubs left and 6 sets of brackets. Letting them go cheap, so if yours thinking about doing this swap get the parts while I have them.

Nice work! I'd defintitely like to pick up a set at some point especially if you can adapt the rears as well. I'd be all over it if you could make an all around set. Having just the front must create some crazy brake bias. Right now my budgets getting thin from buying up 3800 conversion parts otherwise I'd take a set as well as the hubs now.

I'm looking for a cradle now to mock parts up on, I will need someone to test them when I get them done. I'm guessing about 3-4 weeks depending on how long it takes to find a cradle.
It's a shame you don't live closer. I have a spare craddle with control arms and knuckles that I intend on using to build up my 3800. You could have used it until I was ready for it.

Dropped the price. I have three sets left. Need them gone before I can start designing the rear.
I may be interested in a set if you have plans on creating a rear set. I may also be interested in hubs too. Lemme know a price and I'll see if it's within my budget.
I now have a rear option that works very well with the C5 fronts.
These brackets allow the use of 88-95 Rear C4 12" rotors and 88 Fiero rear calipers. Using the 88 Fiero caliper allows you to have an e-brake, nothing needs to be done to the cables or the calipers. When you install the calipers you will need to swap sides, Driverside on the pass side and pass side on the driverside. This will put the bleeder facing down requiring you to bleed the calipers off the car, I have done it several times and it isn't hard to do. Also the Threaded holes that hold the bracket to the knuckle will need to be drilled out and tapped with a M12x1.75 tap, I will include the required drill bit and Tap with each set of brackets.
All parts are available from Rockauto-
Power Stop Drilled and slotted rotors, AR8241XPR $41.79 ea Centric1988 Fiero Left Rear caliper, w/ all brackets and hardware- 14162533 $126.79ea That includes the $70 core Centric1988 Fiero Right Rear caliper, w/ all brackets and hardware- 14162534 $126.79ea That includes the $70 core
$140 shipped will get you two brackets, milled from 7075 Aluminum and powder coated black, 2-6061 aluminum rotor centering rings, the required M12x1.75 mounting bolts and the Drill and M12x1.75mm tap. You can knock $10 off that price if you don't need the drill and tap.
I finally finished my C5 front brake upgrade on my GT! This was an extremely easy swap; Sluppy123's parts are well designed. I will be doing the rear with his 12" kit utilizing the 88 calipers.
I did encounter one problem. I am running older 17" Azul Luz wheels, they scraped the caliper. I think I could resolve the problem by grinding the ribs off the caliper but this is a good excuse to upgrade the wheels on the GT.
I will probably use the Azul wheels on the SE after doing the front/rear upgrade using Sluppy123's 12" kit. I just need to find some time!

I just got an 88 formula into my shop. I will use it to mock up 13" c5/c6 parts on in the next few weeks. Need to order some calipers and rotors to play with.

Excellent. Sign me up sir.
My 88's brakes are tired, so I'm looking for front and rear, always willing to be a guinea pig.
Bad news to those wanting to mount c5/c6 stuff on your 88's.After looking at things and trying to mount the caliper there is just no way to make it work easily. Definitely not with a simple mounting bracket. The stock caliper mount will not allow enough room to mount the bigger c5 caliper. It would need cut off to allow things to fit and that does no good in mounting another caliper.
