Just picked up motor that came with an auto trans that I don't need or want. Willing to sell or trade, just make me an offer. Chassis was an 87 with 135k on the odometer. I was told the fluid that came out looked and smelled good but have no personal knowledge about it. Has both C.V. axles with it. Let me know if anyone wants it soon I have a scrap guy coming to the shop on Monday so if I don't get any feedback on it by then he can take it with him.

Hey, does it have the trans mounts on it? I'd be willing to make an offer if they were in good shape.

Ok thanks for looking. Coulda used the whole trans last year but that issue is gone. Think I'll spring for a new pair of mounts if I'm gonna do the job.

I understand, no worries. Any offers? Looking for a dodgerunner tensioner bracket, or interior pieces that are in good shape. Let me know what people have got out there.

I can vouch for the transmission. Anyone who was at the May Baltimore Co. coffee and drive saw in in the white and yellow 87 GT. I sold the engine to Navy and he got the trans with the deal. The fluid was dark red. No brown and not burnt. By looking into a gallon plastic bottle. The fluid was sucked out before dropping the cradle. 3 quarts let sit then about 1 1/2 more. Never had a issue with shifting or torque converter lockup. Did not see any leaks from it or the axles. The front mount still had the heat shield on it. The TV cable is cracked right at the top where it narrows but is still usable. If need be I still have the one out of the 85.
I only pulled it due to installing the 3800SC/4T60e I had in the 85.
It was running in the car this past Sunday. The swap was finished enough to drive home Wednesday. The engine/trans was picked up Friday from a walled car port. So it didn't sit.
