Thanks Matt great product love not having to use the key all the time. With the deck release I did not have a black/grey wire either mine was yellow/black and I also have not connected the pink to anything at all ( isn't it the power supply ) but the release works fine. Is it possible the power could be back feeding through the module from the door lock side or do they run separate circuits ? ps the interior lights coming on with the lock/unlock are a nice touch.

Is this a "door popper"? I have an 88 with a Testarossa kit. It has poppers, but the drivers side doesn't operate, and the passenger side is wonky... System was installed in 1994. There are no exterior door handles. Need to replace.
no this adds keyless entry to the current functioning system. you might be able to wire it for that but i dont know what kind of door poppers were used.
Good evening, I purchased one of these kits about two years ago. I installed it in my car in the summer of 2015 and it worked perfectly. I then put my car into storage in September 2015 when I left for the military. I came home on leave and the keyless entry doesn't work anymore. The car has a brand new battery and the batteries in the fobs work as well. I'm not sure how to go about fixing this issue, any help from anyone would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

You may need to reprogram you fobs to the unit if the batteries died.
I bought this, but had troubles. MMeyer86 has been great helping me work through it. My first RKE was DOA, and he immediately sent me another. But, the 2nd kept blowing the courtesy light fuse, and I couldn't figure out what I did wrong.
Turns out, for my 1986 SE, the white wire on the 8-wire connector could not be run to the white wire of the light as it appears for most others (and as it reads in multiple threads on this subject) -- it kept blowing the dome light fuse and the RKE wouldn't work. Turns out, the RKE is sending a ground signal to turn on the light, and that white wire on the courtesy light is a 12v. For me, the white wire on the RKE had to be run to the orange/white wire on the closest courtesy light, which was the ground.
Hope this saves someone else a bunch of headache.
