I had these headers on my 1988 3.4 L V-6 (yes, they'll fit a 2.8 L) for about 6 years and I went back to the stock manifolds. The crossover has been slightly widened to better line up with the headers and it has had the internal restriction removed (which is supposed to be worth 10hp?). I would buy these only if you plan on installing them while the engine is out of the car and if you intend on using studs instead of flange bolts. The headers are in very solid condition. I'll take $280 shipped in the lower 48 for just the headers or $340 shipped in the lower 48 for the headers and crossover.

I'm not sure as I was not happy with how it all lined up with the stock crossover, so I cut down the middle of the Y, cut out the restriction, spread it out pipes slightly, and then had the muffler shop weld in the patches that you see in the picture. The alignment on my crossover is still less than optimal. If I was to reinstall the headers, I'd take the crossover to a muffler shop and have them slightly expand the bellows on the ends. Or, I'd construct some copper crash washers to ensure that there are no leaks. Due to "extra noise" I always wondered if I had exhaust leaks. Thus, I put the stock exhaust back on. Well, the stock exhaust seems to be just as loud, and I saw no evidence of an exhaust leak, so apparently they were sealed up.
If these are the same set of headers that I sold to Carnut, then a stock crossover can be made to fit, but it doesn't fit well. I had a stock crossover on my car, with these headers, but it really wasn't happy. Had to spread it a bit and pull it up tight with the four bolts.
You will likely find that all of the earlier Fiero Store headers will fit just the same as these. The later ones fit better, but the tubes are sectioned together and welded. They don't have the one piece tubes that make up these headers.

Yes, they are the ones I bought from you. After I got them home, I blasted them, painted them with ceramic paint, and cured the paint in my powder coating oven. Structurally, I don't think they've changed a bit since I got them from you; they're still very solid headers.
Has anyone ever seen the measured hp gain with these headers on 2.8? I notice FieroStore is always silent. I have always avoided these new as a big investment without known gain. It looks like the welding has held up well.
The general consensus is that they are maybe a little better than ported stockers. I'm thinking ~5 HP is what I remember hearing. (To be fair, it's been a while. 5 was the minimum. It may be more than that.)
With that said, a hard look can crack the stockers. These things are thick as hell. I'd really be surprised if they were to ever crack.
