Last Monday, I bought 2 lawn & garden inner tubes, an M14x1.5 die and 2 4" x 12" x 1/4" pieces of steel from ebay. The tubes were shipped Spee Dee Delivery (never heard of them) and arrived Wednesday, the die and steel were shipped USPS Priority and arrived Friday and Saturday.

So, the no-name place delivers in 2 days, the supposed 2-3 day USPS deliveries took 4 and 5 days. USPS is the government, and we all know how efficient they are...

I turned in the forms to the post office yesterday evening. I may need statements from everyone saying they never received the packages and a signed copy of your Paypal invoice. I am not going to wait for this to be resolved through them as I have no other income if I'm not selling these or windows, so I have replacements painted and drying right now. If/when the others turn up, I'll cover the shipping cost back here.

If the covers were lost in transit, the insurance should cover the cost of the merchandise plus shipping. If claims on paypal are made you can just submit copies of the shipping receipts so everyone is covered. Sorry to hear that this is becoming a hard luck project but honest folks that stay in the game are always rewarded in the end.

Slammed; when you send the second set of lenses, I want to pay for fed ex shipping. I don't want to deal with USPS again; the ~400$ is a lot of money to lose if there is another problem, and I'd rather spend an extra 20-40$ to insure a safe and timley delivery. Warm weather is coming and I want these lenses installed and ready for Fieros at Carlisle.

I don't want to jump to any conclusions yet... If Slammed was gonna sham us she would have disappeared a long time ago.

With that said, I hope she sends out the second shipment soon so that this can stop and we can get on with these shenanigans.

Yes. I will extend the same offer. It's a small price to pay. (Would have been willing to do that, from day one.)

I've been having problems with my lasers edge detection I have been talking about it for weeks, got it fixed last weekend and now it's dead again so I'm back to cutting and polishing the edges by hand which is extremely tedious if they are to be perfect. I didn't spend a few hundred dollars on shipping to just not send things, and it isn't like I haven't already proven I have plenty of product. I have no website nor am I selling on ebay, they aren't going anywhere but to the people who have paid for them.

It's a shame... You seem to have the worst luck I have ever seen! My concern was that you said they would ship on Saturday, and got no update. Surly you can understand from our point of view it's a little frustrating. Been a month and still no product, albeit every single reason was out of your control.

I know and I apologize. I stayed up all night both nights trying to get it fixed and was just feeling a bit defeated. Like I've said before, I'm trying to do everything I possibly can. I'm not going anywhere and everyone's purchases are covered. No one is going to get shafted and I really do not want anyone to wait longer.

Seeing how all this is going to turn out. Slam could stand to make a fortune here if lights are like originals. It always scares me about getting lightly rear end or a kid riding a bike crashes into & bust my lenses. What then? You are screwed.

I do hope it is just that slammed has the worst luck in the entire world, and people get the lenses they ordered soon....

Don't get me wrong, I am still hopeful things will all work out. But you HAVE to admit Slammed, you do have THE WORST LUCK that any of us has ever seen! ! ! ! ! ! ! !

You made molds and perfect replacement lenses
Your boss is not holding his agreement
You almost lost your job
The molds were sold, and You you was shafted
You quit your job and will now make lens covers & windows
5 sets of lenses went out on Monday March 14th, (none received as of yet)
2 sets of lenses went out on Tuesday, March 15th, (neither received as of yet)
bulk scan will not show up until they leave the distribution center which can take up to a week with Parcel Select. (4 weeks past the "9 days" , now and still nothing).
At the latest 9 business days so everyone SHOULD have them by Friday, March 25th (that was 10 days ago, still nothing received)
Your laser died
The boxes you ordered were too small
You missed Fed Ex to receive the boxes
3 weeks now, and none of the lenses have arrived
You said you should be done and ready to drop off tomorrow morning for the replacement shipment, April 2nd. (Not sent out as of 3 days later)
the laser died again

Ya that sounds about right. Thanks. This is a public forum where any person can post whatever they like even if they aren't involved, whether it's a for sale thread or otherwise. If I wanted to just take off, steal money and not respond to anything ever again, I could do that and let it all go to disputes on PayPal. I don't want to do that. This is happening TO ME. Yes some people are bothered, some aren't, but they're collective happiness is something that reflects on me, and that's not considering all the sales I may have lost and product that I have no idea where any of it went. Again, not going anywhere and I'm doing my absolute best to resolve this. I could have offered no way to fix this and let it run it's course with USPS and then refund everyone. Noone wants that including me.

Please don't take that as being antagonistic. I would just wish that everyone could consider what it takes to actually build a product like I have made. That is a lot of planning and development and cost to recoup only a couple thousand dollars

I believe that offering tracking for payments received would constitute mail fraud. (Seven times?) That is NOT an accusation. Just a statement. I don't believe you would go there.

I have not reached the point that I can no longer file a dispute with my credit card. Not yet. But it's getting closer.

Not that it matters to me because I was a little wary anyway after Slams interactions with Rodney and others. I need a set but I figured I would hold out just a bit.....but....that being said there are several guys that did buy that have been on here a long time...way longer than I and definitely longer than March of last year.
I know that there is stupidity among us here sometimes but these older guys are among some of the more respected members of our forum and I for one don't want to see them shafted. Some of these guys were taken by another who they trusted and paid many thousands of dollars to. I won't mention names but everyone knows who it is. I hope this resolves soon and my friends...whether on line or in person...get the parts they paid for and deserve.
That's all I've got to say about that.

I've been watching this (and previous threads) regarding the tail light lenses. I'm cautiously optimistic - as I will need a set of these lenses myself, but I'm waiting to see how this turns out before I commit to a purchase.

Once the original orders are filled, I'm sure SLAMMED will have her hands full with new orders, as I'm sure there are several others that are very interested in these, AND the GT quarter windows, and are just waiting for the first order to be delivered and reviews to be posted.

I sincerely hope that this is just a case of "everything that could go wrong, will", and that we will finally have a source for replacement lenses/covers that the community genuinely needs.
