Over the last 20 years I have owned a Fiero, but the time has come for me to sell my two Fieros and all the additional parts I have. Reason why . . . Getting older and it is harder to get in and out. Plus I don't have the facilities to work on them anymore.
Fiero #1: 86 Blue Sport Coupe (non-Fiero blue) - 165K. Although it is a Sport Coupe (4cyl / 5 spd), it has the SE/GT fascias. The previous owner did not install the aero panels on the doors nor the rocker panels. Fiero Store Headliner - no sunroof - 2013. 4 cyl. dual exhaust kit (and cat) with GT tips from the Fiero Store - 2013. Rebuilt Jasper engine / new clutch / struts were installed in June of 2014. About 6K mi on the engine.
In May 2015, someone pulled out in front of me at an intersection and damaged the front fascia and hood. The insurance company wanted to total the car, but knowing what I had invested in the engine, there is no way they were getting the car. I used the settlement to buy Fiero #2 (below). The SC is still drivable despite the damages. Inspection expires 10/2017. Recently the car has been dealing with a Code 22 issue. The TPS has been replaced, but still having intermittent issues with the code appearing. If given full throttle there is no issues. When applying light throttle, the SC will occasionally buck / stumble. My mechanics has checked the calibration of the TPS, checked vacuum lines, but he is not sure why it is still bringing up the code and running the way it does at times.
Exterior - Good condition other than the damage to the fascia and hood. GT rims with BFG T/A Radials
Interior - Rough condition, especially the seats.
Additional photos can be provided.
Fiero #2: 86 White SE - 114K mi. This was my first taste of a V6 / 4 spd Fiero. All of my previous Fieros were 4 cyl / 5 spd. It was a pleasant change having that additional power.
Details: PA inspection until 4/2018. Up until April the SE has been very reliable for me. Clutch issue developed - not shifting while engine running. Garage installed the Rodney Dickman master cylinder and slave cylinder. After bleeding the system several times , the garage was not able to fix the problem. They gave me a quote to on the possible cost to replace the fork shaft and install all new clutch components. It was more than I am willing to spend at this time.
Exterior is in fair condition - hood has minor damage to the left side near the headlight. Sunroof does not leak. 14in rims with BFG T/A Radials.
Interior is in rough condition, especially the seats.
Up until the clutch issue, this was my daily driver.
Additional photos can be provided.
