Well, I downloaded the photos he sent me to my computer, then resized them for PIP, but when I tried to post them for him, they didn't show up in my files.

If this is the car I'm thinking of, it turned up on Marketplace recently looking rather rough.

Because people wanted pictures; and seeing as this thread and 10k miles ago are what come up when searching for this car, I'm left with more questions than answers re: its current state?

So this was for sale for 2500 on Facebook like a week ago. I asked for photos of the frame rails and asked about rust (it's a Michigan car) his response was to assault me through FB messenger and call me the "N" word.

To be clear... I have the money to purchase this car. $2500 for this? I wouldn't blink. It's obvious the seller is hiding something going on with the car. It's not running but he claims a fuel pump, but also claims to have "changed hundreds" of them. The fact he is unwilling to change this one so he can sell it as a running vehicle while refusing to provide additional photos to show rust (or the lack there of) lends to someone hiding something.

I am leaving him a negative rating and suggest everyone do the same.

Cliff we need to remove people from this forum that think it is acceptable to call other forum members "Nig**ers"

Then there's the front bodywork which now has a different hood, missing marker lights and sizable panel gap between the driver door and quarter panel vs. the old ad I found. Also why was a 2.8 swapped back into what was already a a Quad4 swap?

A fellow named toddscar_ on instagram got the car in 2017 when it had the Quad 4 in it. He said the Quad 4 was seized, so he ended up trying to do a 3800 swap. He later posted the 3800 swap was too complicated, so he put a 2.8 in just so he could get it running. He sold the car to the current owner in 2018 after not having time for it.

Wow, I wouldn't touch this car with a 10 foot pole......or an 8 foot Hungarian.

Always find out the history.
