These fuel injectors will work on a 2.8 (or similar) that's been souped up and requires more fuel flow than stock.
Accel part number: 150130
Flow rate (each): 30 lb/hr
Part history:
Set of six purchased new in 2009
Used in my stock 2.8 Fiero (with tuned computer) from 2009-2016
Flow-tested July 2018, one injector leaked and could not be repaired
I purchased one brand-new injector to replace the bad one
The set was installed in my rebuilt 3.2 L turbo (non-intercooled) engine
I fired up the turbo engine in April 2020, no problems.
The injectors were just barely sufficient to provide the engine with enough fuel at 11 psi boost (peak duty cycle 94% with 1 injection / cam revolution)
In August 2020, I wanted more boost, so I removed these injectors and replaced them with 42 lb/hr units.
When I removed these injectors from the car, the engine was running OK.
For information, Accel is not considered the best brand... The fact that one leaked after just 7 years of service doesn't give me much confidence.
Nevertheless, these parts could be useful to someone, so I don't just want to throw them away.
I lost perhaps two O-rings, but best practice is to use brand-new O-rings during installation, so I suggest you do that.
Asking price: $100 CAD shipped to Canada + continental USA (for other places, I will need to review this)
If you're the kind of person to "pay it forward" and send free parts to your fellow Fiero nuts, I'll send the injectors to you for free.
