Just noticed that the fugly 88GT with the flag painted on its hood is back on eBay with the bid opening now at $500. I would warn all the forum members about this bidding on this vehicle. In the specs it says Mileage 1000 miles but in the pictures it shows 232K miles on the odometer. Its a high mileage Eastern car and you know what that means. The seller has been trying to move this Fiero for at least a year and each time the reserve was not met. It wouldn't even make a good parts car as everything in and out on this car has been painted or scribbled on. As such there is zero collector value here. I just wonder why someone would ruin an 88GT like this.

------------------
" THE BLACK PARALYZER" -87GT 3800SC Series III engine, custom ZZP /Frozen Boost Intercooler setup, 3.4" Pulley, Northstar TB, LS1 MAF, 3" Spintech/Hedman Exhaust, P-log Manifold, Autolite 104's, MSD wires, Custom CAI, 4T65eHD w. custom axles, Champion Radiator, S10 Brake Booster, HP Tuners VCM Suite.
"THE COLUSSUS"
87GT - ALL OUT 3.4L Turbocharged engine, Garrett Hybrid Turbo, MSD ign., modified TH125H

They've tried everything to sell that car. They finally asked the full price of $17,500 about 2 listings ago and received zero bids. The last listing had the typical 2 "bidders" bidding up to just over $11,000.

You can be sure that the person bidding the price upwards is a stooge using a variety of eBay names. As I've said before you can't even utilize this Fiero as a parts car. Its a high mileage car from the Eastern salt belt (232K miles) with every part painted and with magic marker writings replacing the factory switch selection printing. Notice that they never show the underside. I wouldn't give them $200 for this P.O.S. .

So far the same false bidders are bidding the car up to make it look like people are actually interested.

No sale for the 20th time but the stooge bidders didn't get as aggressive. The stooges got the bid to $8900 and guess what? "Reserve was not met" so it didn't sell again. If you read the eBay ad write up on this 232K mile car, the author should be considered one of the great fiction writers of our time.

I reported it for misleading description to egay months ago but of course they didn't care and the listing remained at 1000 miles. The look doesn't float my boat but it's worth $3000-4000 probably.

I emailed the seller and told them it was worth MAYBE $5,500. They told me it was on consignment and the owner set the high price and won't budge. The owner is obviously delusional.

There is obviously something quite wrong with someone that wants $17K for this painted scribbled on high mileage car.

There is also obviously something quite wrong with someone that needs to pay a middle man thousands of dollars to put a listing of his car on egay rather than just doing it himself.
