Seeing if there is any interest in buying the engine from my 3800 swap. The swap was done by Dan in 2009 and never ran properly. I spent a few years off and on trying to troubleshoot the problem but it always had a misfire on two cylinders. I had even swapped the entire long block but the problem followed to the new engine and I ended up putting this original motor back in. Lost interest in this six or seven years ago and it's been a few years since it has been running. Not in a condition to run now as the supercharger was removed temporarily and hasn't been reinstalled, but there should be no major issues other than the misfire.
Could be a good cheap way for someone to get a 3800 to swap, if this is even something still being done! This engine was from an '06 Grand Prix.
Looking to keep the engine cradle as I have vague plans for a future EV conversion. Would be willing to trade for a similar condition engine cradle if you want this one that has the 3800 mounts.
Also comes with a bunch of misc spare 3800 parts.
Asking $1000 OBO. Definitely negotiable especially if you come and help remove the engine. I used to do that in a few hours..
