Sky, I think either way (forum or Craigslist) you are going to have to knock out the To Do list, otherwise the car could overheat during a test drive. Is the paint too far gone to buff up a bit? Of course, for a Cali sale, the car has to pass smog before it can be sold, technically. But that also means going offf non-op ($) and getting a permit ($) to move it. If it was me I'd invest in some spit-shine in the interior, kinda like staging a house for sale. You want the test driver to feel good sitting in the cockpit and not worrying that a black widow or snake is going to appear from under the seat

Yeah I knocked out the cooling issue today fan kicks on and off like its supposed to and stays cool idling in the driveway even though it was 90 out. Started to work on cleaning up the interior. I have a flawless oem skeleton i just installed. Ill probably swap the dash out for the one in the shed since i have it stripped to the skeleton. Temp guage was actually fine just was stuck up it un stuck itself while i was moving it around. Its coming together.

The only thing that comes to mind is tires. I can't remember what the condition of the ones on the American Racing wheels im planning to put back on it are in. The previous owner was running the car and those tires as their daily driver before the engine went and i got it. But honestly I wouldn't be brave enough to make that trip with most things not my brand of "adventure"

Also im hoping whomever buys the car wants to take some parts with them. I have far too many GT only spares

Where are you in Cali? Agreed with earlier posts - smog is key. Just did an out of state registration and smog and it is a bit of a pain for these older cars. This appears to be already CA registered though?

Yeah Clean CA title currently on non-op. I'm in the Fairfield Vacaville area.

Yeah im working through my list I was just hoping someone would jump on the car and the parts hord at the discounted price without me having to work on it. But now I got the windshield in and interior almost fully back together. Im almost tempted to beg my dad to let me keep it at his house but i just have too many toys.

Been updating progress on the build thread.
