I'm selling a HyperTech Chip for a 86-87 v6 4 speed manual. I had it in my 86 and removed it before I sold it.

$100/bo shipped to lower 48 US States.

Interesting that it is specifically for a manual.

I did not think these type of performance chips had anything to do with the transmission or shift points. Assumed it was just fuel and timing.

Well there's the shift light, and an auto controls the TCC lockup, I don't know if those are functions on the chip itself or somewhere else on the ECM.

For the shift light, it is transmission specific, the ECM uses the current rpm and current speed to determine which great it's in based off a table of some kind, thus determining when to shift.

The automatic chip instructs the transmission for Torque converter lockup. The stick chip only activates the shift light.
