At this moment (Friday, Sept 1st 2000, 5.45am EST) the forum is very slow. Apparantly one of the subnets is down which causes my server's DNS to be unreachable. Without going into technical details, this causes the forum to slow down tremendously. At the moment I can't reach anybody so it'll probably take at least another 10 hours before everything is back to normal. My apologies for any inconvenience.

You sure it was only you? I was on http://ecom.sylvania.com/osicatalog/ and they where having a hell of allot of trouble last night as well. You could get to the pasted link but not actually search the catalog. (Some of their stuff is in Europe. never sure where data is comming from with them.)

I'm sure it wasn't only me since a whole lot of other sites were completely down that were dependent on the same subnet. Fortunately my server isn't on that subnet but my DNS is.
