Ok, I've been programming my butt off for 18 straight hours to add Pennock's Fiero Index. This is a list of vendors that sell Fiero related stuff. You can clickhere or on the link at the bottom of each screen to get to the list.
This list is now empty because vendors can add themselves to this list. They will be added automatically and immediately to this list when they enter their information.
Only true vendors may add themselves to the list! So don't use it to sell some Fiero stuff laying around on your attic!
This is a moderated vendor list, so I will check it on a regular basis to see if vendors meet the requirements for this list. If not, I will delete them from the list.
Leaving additions to this list up to the user is experimental. If the list is spammed, or otherwise abused, I'll change it and in such case vendors will be added whenever I'll have the time to review them.
Also, although I have tested it for bugs it could still very well be that some bugs remain. If you find a bug, please email me.
1) As you wrote, vendors would post themselves. What a vendor (or its representative) weren't (Heaven forbid) on the Forum? Could we pitch in for them? Or should we actively recruit them?
2) What about those that are not expressly Fiero, but have parts and/or services that would benefit the PFF membership, et al? I have gotten contact info for Standard Abrasives (http://www.sa-motorsports.com/) and The Eastwood Company (http://www.eastwoodcompany.com/cgi-bin/sgdynamo.exe?HTNAME=default2.htm) from Forum members, and I've bookmarked them both. Also, The Tire Rack, Summit Racing, and others are mentioned with varying regularity. I think that these could be good resources for us, and I'm sure that there are others that I don't know about....
Damn, I'm picky.
------------------ This should work until my site comes online....
I started using it the other day and just thought it was part of the site. I didn't know it was brand new. It really helps us newbies.
What's the deal with the main page? Is something wrong with my browser? Only the Forum, Ogre's Cave, and Gallery do anything. Do I need a plug in or something?
After I click a site on the list it brings up the "Business Card". Then I click the homepage link and then it loads in my list page. I would rather it load in a new window, that way I still have the list. OR have a "back to list" button on the Business card".
I'll see if I can get into contact with The Fiero Shop here in Toronto to get them to post their info. It's a good haven for us Torontonians and the surrounding cities.

Cliff, that list is a great idea and it seems to work great too. Thank you.
Will it be added to the main site somewhere? I can't find a link anywhere except where you annouce it in the forums.
We have _already_ gotten a couple sales and more inquiries because of the list's existence, which is a pretty good response in such a short period of time.
