Thanks for adding the "open books". I know the first day they weren't on there and was a little sad. That is the main way that I know if I should look at a seved thread. Thanks, Mark

It works with every 100% DOM compatible browser. If it doesn't work with Safari, then Safari's at fault.

When the Tiger arrives, I'll recheck the workings. By the way the calendar works, just the little blue bar on the left
won't open.
P.S. I like the changes, and appreciate the work done to make it happen as well as the effort to keep OUR Forum
afloat, kudos to you Cliff! Thank you for your tireless efforts (and tired too)!

I saved the site and will give it a deeper look when I've got some time ..... 3 mo. old Rhodesian Ridgeback puppies TAKE
a lot of time (and patience), probably next mo. .... maybe .... If you're into the breed her dad's Mojave, and mom's one of
the top lure-coursers (of her breed) in the Pacific Northwest. ..... she's a handful!!!
Thanks for the link Cliff.

The calender is neat, I wonder if you can compress it for display on the page and have it 'unfold' when clicked. The top of the pages are getting a little busy, I wonder if putting distinct bars on the page would be an idea. Yeah, and I'm not the first to fuss about the search function, although it seems to have gotten better? I think the "MY FAVORITES" tab needs to be widend so people notice it better, maybe some contractsing color?. Too many posts about it being 'gone'. I wish I could point to some posts, some quotes seem to dissappear because of some color conflicts. (Unless that has been addressed and I didn't notice)

Cliff, this is still the greatest online community I have seen. A real pleasure!

I still have yet to figure out how to add a thread to my favorites.

I know this is an old thread, but I just happened upon it I found how to add a thread to the favorites but is there any way to add a thread to the favorites when you find it through the search feature? Or do you have to post to it and bring it to the top?

Cliff recently said he is working on a way to mark a thread as a favorite while you have it open and are reading it.

I have a comment directly related to this that's been bugging me....If I check my PMs first, it clears all of the posts that were read since the last time I checked in, so when I make it to the forum, all the posts are cleared and it looks like no one has posted to my "favorite" threads..

Just a question... why "check" your PM's? The forum index page tells you if you have any new PM's. Also, you can receive emails when new PM's arrive. I never have a need to "check" mine, because when I come to the forum I already know if I have any new messages.

I've experienced the same thing ..... go in to PM section first ... come back out and go into any of the forum sections, and nothing posted shows as new since my last visit.

Just wanted to say I am running XP and I could not find this side bar. Finally I added https://www.fiero.nl/ to my pop-up blocker settings and guess what now it is there .

Great going I like this.

i noticed this issue today when searching. im guessing it is from the update that was done early this morning.

here is the problem i noticed, all the archived threads in a search come up as "untitled".

That's correct. I've been archiving threads this morning which means some threads have disappeared from the main database but the search indices still think they are there. This will solve itself by tomorrow since the search indices are automatically rebuilt once a day.
